Giz I went on the M&P website yesterday on your recommendation and bought some maternity bits too. Managed to save £30 with the discount! Hope you get your money back.

My bump is looking pretty bumpy right now too. I'll get OH to take a pic this evening and post it up here later.

Apparently they are busy, even if I came in there would be no room for me. I just don't want to be taken in just for monitoring on the ante natal ward otherwise I'll be stuck there until the due date, I think in that case I will stay at home until they can do the deed . .
Oh no, what a rollercoaster! So does that mean not today at all or sit by the phone and wait?! Crazy. I agree def don't go in or you'll go stir crazy and sounds like no room anyway!

DH is not up yet, my clothes are in there and I want to get dressed!

Have sorted out our towels and bedding cupboard so baby's towels and bedding fit in (just!). Now need to try and register the pushchair, apparently i should've done it straight away...oops!

    Well c'mon... any babies yet???;):p:p:p

My poor DS thought I was having a baby at 5am this morning!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Got DH up for work BUT there was a power cut so I was wandering round with a torch. DS thought he heard me say "I have a problem" and obviously wasn't hearing the usual early morning noises such as kettle!

    I'm huge today.

    Ohmigosh... I'm having a baby VERY soon:eek::eek::eek::D

giz you are doing well with a 1/3 through it already, good luck getting it finished I think I got distracted opps. Also DD was born in feb - it was snowing and she came home in a vest, sleepsuit, thick cardy and blankets. TBH the longest outside part was walking across the hospital car park, then in the car and pretty much out the car and in the house so no snowsuit really needed. If you did want one though I'd get a newborn as I doubt it'll be cold enough for baby to really grow into a 0-3 month one. I've got a 0-3 month one but with baby being born in nov/dec it'll grow into it either way and it was only £1 at car boot sale but is probably gonna be to big for at least a couple of weeks, just hoping it lasts the whole winter and this baby doesn't grow like DS did. He was in 9-12 clothes by 5 months then didn't outgrow them till nearly 18 months, he only grows in spurts.

sir monster hopefully they'll find a space for you soon but at least you are waiting at home in the meantime, I imagine it would be very boring waiting around in the hospital.

Good luck for everyone being induced over the weekend - can't wait for baby news :j:j:j.
I'm all alone - the kids have gone away for the bank holiday weekend for the first time ever and I don't like it :(. Never been apart from them for more than a day - it means I'll be able to get last few things sorted round the house though but Tuesday can't come quick enough :D.

I am 37 weeks today - full term :j:j. It would be very convenient if baby could make an early appearance this weekend when I don't have to worry about childcare.

DH is still not up!! Despite the doorbell just going. I am really needing to get dressed and go out but he wasn't really well last night so don't want to wake him if I can help it. I'm getting a bit worried in case something is wrong...he does sleep in at the weekends and was v tired I guess, but not usually this late. I guess I'll give him til 11 and then go in.

Just stuck about 20 muslins in the washer, plus 4 cotbed sheets. My whole world is turning cream and lemon!!! I guess that's the thing with not finding out the sex!! I've also bagged up 4 pags for the charity shop so that has cleared some space. Curtain linings have just come so getting there!

Glad you're feeling better about it all now MV.

It is exciting, isn't it? This middle bit is definitely the best, hopefully no awful MS any more, not got to the part where everything is horribly uncomfortable, and enough energy to do things.

It's strange to think that at this stage last time I didn't even know I was pregnant - I'm as bumpy now as I was at 28-30 weeks last time (still not really bumpy compared to you guys though). The downside of knowing is how long it all takes - I'm kind of glad I've got this house-buying stress to keep me busy, it's making the time pass faster.

We're off to Essex this evening to meet up with OH's New York friend, and to see MIL, who hasn't seen DS in all of two weeks and is getting withdrawal symptoms. I've promised to help clear her loft - might even be able to persuade her to babysit so we can go out for dinner or something. I've not had an evening out since my birthday last December, so it would be really nice.
