I have a box of loveheart sweets left over from our wedding... I got them from the poundshop... 3 packs of 4 rolls for a pound! :D

Recon they'd still be ok after 2 years? lol...

I wonder if palmer violets have the same effect too?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Hi all, just been putting clothes away in chest of drawers :) however I only have four newborn sleepsuits and seven newborn vests,

then I have eleven 0/3 months vests and fourteen 0/3 months sleepsuits.

I am tempted to try and muddle through with that amount of early clothes but not sure - any opinions!

Have to say, this is only what I already had in neutral colours - got more than this but they are all boys clothes/colours which are not much use as baby is a girl this time around.

I definitely have no problem for 3/6 months and 6/9 months things, just the very early stuff that I seem to be a little short of. :)

I'd be tempted to see how you go with that to start with Don - you can always pick up more if you find you need them, but I'd bet the washing machine will be on so often that you'll be fine with those, and at least then you'll know what size you'll need.

Pretty much the only reason I want to know the sex this time is so I know whether to keep DS's clothes from when he was a baby, or to get rid of them before we move house. I'm such a hard hearted pragmatist at times, then I find a tiny pair of socks or something, and get all soft :rotfl:

Sir M: I wouldn't worry about bubs been born so soon, 5lbs isn't a bad weight I'm sure everything will be fine. I'm going in Friday also and will be thinking of you *hugs*

I'm craving love hearts too now! But it is pouring with rain and I've only just dried out from cycling home so I don't think I'm going to go and buy any.

DON79 - you'll probably find that lots of people give you 0-3 month clothes when the baby's born so you won't need to worry about not having enough.

Sir M - my husband just told me he only weighed 5 lb 5 when he was born and he has turned out perfectly!

I've got a 3D scan tomorrow - really looking forward to it!

    Any news from Freebie?

    Stay put vibes for tinks.

    Hi all

busy day on here, what a rollercoaster for lots of you (((hugs)))

tinks seems to be saying on fb that bubs is staying put for now.

    Sir M
, been wondering all day how you were getting on. Massive hugs. I'm not surprised you've been crying, what a shock, you've had to readjust your expectations so many times. Just glad you pointed it out to her, good job you're on the ball. how's DH taking it? Is there anything at all I can do to help? I don't know what but do you need stuff getting or anything. I'm around tomorrow as well as Fri now but I'm guessing you're going to be busy. Let me know if I can do anything though or if you do need to get out you know where I am. xxx

Can't remember who else said what, sorry it has been a long day. SPD has been horrendous but hey, it will pass! My event went well and I feel like I've ticked off a big thing today. I'm def working from home tomorrow & fri but may well call in sick one or both days..will see if my legs can hold my weight tomorrow!!

  • Thanks all for your kind messages, at least I feel reassured re the active behaviour of bubs who never seems to stop!! Was talking to another lady at antenatal clinic who is due a few days before me and her bubs was estimated at 7 pounds and 2 (what a gap between our two!!), she was worried as only felt her bubs move 5 times a day - possibly due to her bubs size. Will try to get mobile broadband on Friday as think it will be a long boring day so will keep you updated!!

Also for you overdue ladies, was a poor lady there who was being induced at 43 weeks as they couldn't do it before as no bed space (this was her 3rd kid as well)
