Sir M, my little nephew was born in July and only weighed 5lb 7.. He was a tiny little bit, but perfectly formed... And but 8 weeks was 8lb something :)

    I'm sure you'll be fine hun :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I know I should be very excited, but I am scared mainly because bubs only weighs 5 pounds and 3 ounces, hope everything will be ok . .

    consultants are idiots..

that isn't a bad weight, assuming they are anywhere near right of course.. they can be hugely out!!

My sis was 5lb 3 at 2 weeks overdue

SirM - you're bound to be scared from the speed of it but bubs will be fine, 5lb 3 is a good weight, he'll be fine. xx

Hope Tinks and baby are OK.

Hope all goes smoothly for you tomorrow MLSL.

Fuzz - I wish you hadn't mentioned the heartburn/love hearts thing - I just got some on my shopping trip and they're now preying on my mind, I'm trying very hard to resist them and actually wait until I do have heartburn:D:p:rotfl::rotfl: Plus once the pack is open they won't last, I guess I'd better stick to gaviscon in future:D

    Sending Tinks stay put vibes!

And huge labour vibes for those who need them.

I am sitting at work with a kicking bubs and daiwoowoo. Had the d for 2 days now, able to eat and drink and not too drastic in speed to loo, but still quite uncomfortable and quite distracting. I am considering taking tomorrow off, but feel a bit guilty as i have coped today and yesterday, oh well.

My mother announced yesterday that she will be buying our cot, so i have told which one i want, it has to be from IKEA as this is where she wants to get it from, so cot and mattress ordered :) Hubby loves it too http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30190211

Right well i will be lurking, take care ladies (and gents)

Good luck Sir M - my niece was born a fortnight ago at term weighing 5lbs 15oz and she was perfect, just teeny.
Looks like you'll probably have an August baby after all.

I've been to see mw today and baby is engaged - I'm almost 37 weeks. I was suprised as didn't expect baby to be engaged so soon with it being my 3rd, I've been having BH and mucousy discharge also. I'm hoping this means he/she may put in an early appearance (but trying not to get my hopes up).

Labour vibes for all those overdue/going for induction.

I've been looking for lovehearts but can't find them anywhere. Where did you get yours?

I had to settle for gaviscon today.

Giz - I got them from Tesco.

Well I had a very slight bit of heartburn earlier, so half the packet has now gone!!:D:D I don't suppose the other half will be far behind either:D
