that would be fine if it's what you wanted
or you could do a new one weekly as you do now with the old ones going to GO as they do now
aha, think i'm beginning to finally understand :rotfl:
instead of posting say for eg:
Full House Issue xx
every week on the main board,
i do a heading for the first one (as in puzzler.coms thread)
Full House Magazine Answers Regularly Updated each week
then each week do the title same as we do now but just add the new issue number/answers etc to the last posting for that mag, then when the thraed gets a bit old or around 100 pages (as in postals) ask a BG to send to GO & restart a new oneplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

it's up to you korkyit's fine if you do the same as you do now
Full House Issue xx
every week on the board,
but just on the regs board instead of the main board
or one longer thread if you want to change it

that would be my idea of heaven for all the regular compsthose that change daily, weekly, monthly so including tv game shhow comps, fb comps that average weekly (like the phones for you and big yellow space savers which sometimes comp changes completely, sometimes stays same but runs for 2 weeks, sometimes has a new question etc.) then its a simple case of checking if its been posted in the thread, thanks says ive entered already or not and wouldnt be removed from dailies because one end date has been reached (like space savers atm which was posted on main and in dailies, doesnt necessarily start new comp the day last one ended but is still ongoing as a daily play comp).

well, i'd be willing to try the new waybut think it's also up to the other comp mags posters/peeps who enter them every week what they think as well
if i'm posting one of the reg mags in regs & the other reg mags posters are posting the others on main board it's going to get a bit confusing
do you think wwe should have a vote ?please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

its not a problem in postals, or the current puzzler and tab threads is it? whats the difference? (sorry not picking just dont understand hence the questions)
Is not a problem as such, i just don't like the idea. And i don't see why we would do it for those comps in particular and not all the others? And like i've said, i don't understand why it is done that way for the tab/puzzler ones at the moment either.2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
2013: £134.960 -

hiya, think it's done that way because it's easier to follow the issue numbers through & they all belong to the same particular magazine/comps/mags site, & are posted on thier sites with all the mags together,
if the puzzler/tab all were posted separate it would be difficult to keep checking back for the issues, especially the puzzler.com one as they mix/match/change which comps they run in conjunction with each other, it's hard to keep track sometimes & takes me ages sometimes to check on the site which ones they've decided to do every month, if they were posted separate think it would be a nightmare to keep track of who's posting which & the new issuesplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

that makes sense with the puzler ones, i forgot they have lots of linked comps.2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89

agree we should do it the same way for all regular comps. other regular comps that wouldnt fit in with that way (like sci fi comps for example) should go in the regs board instead of on main, and still be linked in dailies as they are daily entry.
other comps form other sites (agenet of the top of my head for example) would continue to be posted on main exactly as they are now.
glad, thank you btw, ive had "figure out who to contact to get an official deffinition of regular comps and which the regs board should be used for" on my to do when i get a chance list for a few months now...i can cross it off0 -

it will be all or none Korky so shouldn't be confusing if it does happen, at the moment I'm just loving all the discussion/ideasI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. I just think it makes it a bit more awkward. In the main thead you just click on a comp and it's there, in this caase you would have to remember to go to last thread instead.
I don't go in regulars, as I said, as I find it too confusing, I can never figure out that first thread, but then I'm probably not as seasoned a comper as some of you!!0
