Q. What type of data is being collected?
A. The application measures general usage of your phone. For example, we collect information on:

• the type, name, use and installation of applications and games
• the address of the websites you visit
• the date and duration of the websites you visit
• the date, time and duration of phone calls, but not details on the phone numbers you call or receive calls from
• the date and time you send text/picture messages to or receive text/picture messages from
• the date, time, type and name of Bluetooth devices used with your phone
• the date and time when USB devices are connected to your phone
• battery levels, charger states, alarm usage, profile changes
• information on network traffic, use of WLAN and use of GPS
• information on failed calls
• system and hardware events like start-up and shutdown, SIM card change, application crashes and connected, disconnected and types of accessories, like TV-cables.
• information on what kinds of fields are used in the phonebook
• the network performance of your phone, including signal quality readings

We do not listen to or record any of your phone calls. We also do not examine, store or record any of the content of text or picture messages you send or receive. In addition, we cannot and do not read any of the contents of your other files or email messages.

just received my n8 and just wondered if anybody could help me on how to display the name/number of the caller when they are ringing as at the minute it just says "call". also how to get it to say the callers name as it did on my n95

Hi all

Bit of a strange glitch I've found and was wondering if someone else could test to see if they have the same issue.
While using T9, it seems there is one word that my phone doesn't want to save no matter how many times I try.
due to the nature of the word I cant just type it on here but......
It begins with "S"
It ends with "T"
and is another name for poo

I find it strange that I can store all different sorts of words just not this particular one??

any other Nielson Panel members not recieved any surveys yet? I have not had any contact or anything. I would quite enjoy writing a review or something as well.

when u first turned the phone on did you get the 360 screen come up after going on the internet??
if not uninstall the 360 app after doing an upload and then reinstall it.
access the internet and it should then pop up the 360 screen
you will also get little surveys after you access each feature so many times pop up on the phone.

You probably have that number that is calling you stored in the N8 more than once, so the name won't come up. Check your phone/SIM book.

Mine connected to the internet, but I get never get surveys. Had a email from nielsen the other day, saying that my N8 had not updated to their servers in some time, I checked and it had not updated in the past 178 hour :rotfl: they told me to either return the phone or update it :rotfl: :rotfl:
The 360 software decided to change my access point to my MMS service :mad:

Same problem with T9 not saving the other word for poo, and theres another rude word too...
Also, it seems to randomly capitalise words for me, it does it for Proper Nouns but also for 'just' and a couple of others...

My 360 is constantly updating, still no surveys
Don't really want to uninstall reinstall don't want to anger them and take away my baby...

thought that may have been the case but checked and hadnt, i saw somewhere else on here about somebody with another problem who just took the sim card out and when they put it back in and turned it back on it had rectified the problem, so this is what i did and now caller dispay now works, thanks tho
