Lending money to husband

Should a marriage come to that, then it would be difficult and frustrating for both sides, which must bring some comfort to the person leaving - that no matter how difficult it is for them, it is just as difficult, and possibly more so, as they are being made to do something, for the other person.
If my DH had 'lent' me money with payable interest to cover my debts when we married, then I would be looking at 'lending' him (with payable interest) the ironing, cooking, cleaning, washing etc I'v done for him. We're a team - when I need help he helps me, when he needs help I help him. We do not help each other and keep score.
I agree with the poster who said that the husband should be looking to recoup some of the money from his ex if she was jointly responsible for it. Until that has been resolved then it would be better not to lend him the money and for him to speak to the bank about the issues.
I sincerely hope that he doesn't start to resent you for forcing the money and payable interest on to him.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
