Chilli?
Savoury Mince with Mash and Veg?
Stick it in a dish and put a pastry lid on it?0 -
My friend has just given me a recipe for meatloaf, i haven't tried it yet but it looks really easy, just mix up mince, onions and some other things (can't remember and can't get it from the kitchen as floor's drying lol!) and stick it in a loaf tin. When I can get the recipe I can post it or you can search on line, I think she downloaded it.
I'm the same with mince, it's the cheapest but like you get bored with chilli, spag bog, cottage pie lol!I'm playing all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order!0 -
I was going to suggest meatloaf. Also minced beef and onion pie is good with top an bottom crust!
One of my son's favourites is a cottage pie type thing with mince, onions, tin tomatoes, carrots, peas (whatever you fancy really), then top with suet dumplings and cook in the oven so you have a crispy suet pudding top.
It's delicious!Less is more0 -

curry???
this is lovely.. just chuck in minced beef, 2 x chopped potatoes, 1 x onion, tin of tomatoes, couple of handfuls of frozen peas and a tablespoon of your favorite curry paste. add 3/4 pint of water and either cook in the oven say gas 5 for an hour or simmer in a pan on the hob.....
when cooked serve with rice or naan or whatever.. but it yummy. and to really top it off i put a spoon of creme fraiche on the top.. but then again i have creme fraiche with everything........................................
