If you dont know the difference between left and right then of course you should not be driving.

I agree. I'm banned from driving because my vision isn't good enough. The medication I take would temporarily (ie, when I take it and up to 15 minutes later) stop me from driving. I can't always tell left from right. Given that, I would never feel safe driving.

And you know nothing about my Mother or me, for that matter. You have no idea whatsoever of any of our circumstances......and you certainly do not know for a fact that my Mum could drive. She cant, as no aids exist that can help with her condition.

Why do you feel the need to answer me with name calling and a belittleing attitude like you are some sort of authority on who can and who cant drive?

I dont take advice anyway from anyone who thinks driving after taking a drug which is "80 times stronger than Morphine" (what a good laugh that gave me....driving on that is idiotic!!) anyway!

    Your brain is obviously addled!

You are an idiot, pain patches are very diffrent from oral meds and dont have the same side affects, I put the 80xs stronger in my previous post to show that you know nowt about pain meds or how/when the are perscribed to chronic patients or how they affect people like me who are opiate tolerant after 20 years of (prescribed) opiate painkillers.

As I said the professionals say that anyone can drive apart from those mentioned in my previous post and where common sense prevails but most disabled people can drive safely if they want to, a visit to a regional mobility center can decide if someone is safe to drive or not, I was there under month ago with my list of meds, consultants letters and other important information to confirm my ability to drive safely and I passed as safe to drive as usual:T

good news mupette, happy motoring, its a good job you still have the car.

    That's brilliant news!

I got told earlier this year I could drive by my consultant. I know for a fact that I was given incorrect information. My sight is as bad as it's even been.

Looks like I will also be allowed my Provisional!! Doctor whom did my ''medical'' if you can call it that to be honest says he has no problems. Rather worried he never asked one single thing! Had two questionaires to fill in. Drugs and drink. Was meant to be done in front of Doc, however was handed them in reception!!
