Our free pantomime tickets arrived this morning. I'm not sure who was more excited, DD or myself!
Also the welcome pack from Tesco's Baby club came - must get there and collect the baby basket. I need nappies anyway. I was wondering if it's worth getting a clubcard even though I don't shop there often. There were some vouchers for extra points on nappies and things that might work out well for deals. Any Tesco experts know if it's worth my while?
Also some of the shopping I did for my Mam arrived and I have just over £10 tracking in Quidco for spending her money. Now does that make it my money or her money?
Off to the local forest for a tree today, then 22 party bags to make up later ready for DD's party tomorrow. Also DS is invited to a swimming party at 6 o'clock so need to remember to take him there (and collect him at the end!!) - might delegate that to OH.0 -
Ooh, it's snowing outside! :snow_grin0

Hi Choca, we got a clubcard and I'm so glad we did - their own brand nappies are fab, and although we haven't done all that much shopping there, we have just had a £5 voucher, and loads of useful money-off coupons (for things we actually need, not just hairnets and dogfood...lol).
They can give you a temporary one in store, then you just ring up to register properly and they send it out. But you can keep using the temporary one until the proper one arrives."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
The panto tickets are from the Sunderland empire as part of a promotion for making bookings for groups and schools. I have to go along to a 30 minute presentation of what's going to be on next year first but I can live with that!0

Will look into that then, snaggles, thanks. Is that Ryan on your avatar?
EDIT: Are you trying to make me think I'm bonkers - it's Natasha now but i'm sure it was Ryan earlier today??
Put the tree buying off until next week due to the fact that the snow is quite thick and I'm a wuss about driving or being driven in it. OH would quite happily go out in it but about 4 or 5 years ago he insisted we went shopping while snowing, crashed the car 9on the way home and I've never let him forget it.
He dragged me out for a walk round the village in the snow instead which did my painful pelvis no good whatsoever! Going to put up the party bags this afternoon and go through some recipe books for stuff we can cook at weekends and freeze for during the week. I'm bored with the same old stuff over and over! Did discuss watching Christmas with the Kranks but OH is not pleased as that mean he can't watch Saturday Soccer, so we'll see!0 -
Phew, finally caught up!
That gingerbread house is an absolute masterpiece! And I was SO impressed with the advent calendars as well. Now I've seen it, the christmas tree made from matchboxes makes so much more sense. Well done you!
Glad that everything seems to have been going well for you last couple of weeks - and glad to hear that you've been taking things easy at least some of the time! Hope the pelvis isn't too sore - I was speaking to a friend tonight who had SPD (are those the right letters? The same thing you've got anyway!) and she was telling me she was on crutches for about 3 months, and still couldn't walk for weeks even after baby was born - apparently it's very rare to have it that severe though, so I'm not trying to scare you! You therefore get full sympathy - it sounds awful! I keep getting stiff pains in that area, and every time I think of you and your dysfunctional pubis, but I think (hope!) that I'll avoid anything too nasty. I can't afford to be crippled!
Quidco: your mum's spending is still your cash in my opinion! Take it as payment for the time you spent doing all the work for her - she's probably well chuffed anyway that she saved by buying online!
Need to have a look at your next-Xmas challenge, but still trying to find all the other diaries I read to catch up before I start anything new!
Fingers crossed for you with your potential buyer!0
