Listed 10 things yesterday but having a bit of a giggle at myself as can't imagine anyone buying any of them! Still, as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure! Got more stuff to list today - stuff that might be easier to sell, hopefully.
Go Choc! I remember taking some stuff down to a charity shop and we were still there when it was put out and someone snapped it straight up! I now have 17 things listed on ebay, no bids but watchers on 4 items (not that being watched always means you get bids!)
I think that one of the bundles of baby clothes I bought last week may have gone astray. The sender posted it with parcelforce 48 last Tuesday, which he said meant guaranteed delivery by 5.30pm on Thursday. But it still isn't here! There has been someone in all of the time but no Parcelforce to be seen. And the tracking number doesn't seem to work on the website, even though I know it's the right number (seller sent a photo of the proof of postage thing). Wonder where it could be?
Ordered DS's first Christmas present today. Have quite a bit for DD but nothing for DS. I set them both a budget for their lists - DD spent every penny; DS "can only think of a couple of things he wants". Anyway, I got a computer game he wanted using HMV e-vouchers so it's a start!0 -
Despite a crappy night's sleep (or not sleep, should I say!), I'm feeling quite upbeat today. Think is because sun is shining and it's quite bright outside.
Done very little today; dropped DD off at football training, popped to my Mum's for a cup of tea and cadged two home made pies for lunch for DS and I - very tasty!! Got a parcel to wrap and send for ebay today - I hate that bit! And have 11 watchers on 8 items on current ebay stuff - no bids as yet! Should really add more stuff later.
Anyway, off to do today's Flylady stuff - I will have a tidy, organised, clutterfree home by Christmas! And when mine is all organised I have said I will tackle my Mum's...eek! Now that might take some time!0 -
ooh I love Flylady and the countdown to Christmas and peace!!
I have to admit, it was Flylady who get me started on the presents already
I have a present box so have been able to dip into that, but glad I'm getting organised already!

Hi, Sea. To be honest, not a lot of decluttering today - more cleaning really, though I have sorted out bathroom cabinet and drawers and got rid of a ton of half used facial scrubs etc that have been there since goodness knows when!
Seemed to take ages to do the bathroom, in between dropping DD off and collecting her from football, dropping DS and his friends off at the swimming pool (they walked the 3 miles home so didn't have to go and get them), delivering food to my sister for my mother, going to post office etc. Having said that, it did get a really good clean, including all tiles (even the high up ones!), cleaning the floor on my knees with a cloth instead of a mop and doing inside drawers and cupboards.
Had a scary moment when sent DD upstairs to bring some washing down and she discovered a previously hidden make-up set. I followed up a few minutes later to find her with dark pink nail varnish all over her hands and just about to wipe them on her clothes / the towels. I thought she was over that sort of thing - as a small child (between about 1-4) she had to be constantly watched as she tipped all manner of shampoo, shower gel etc straight down the toilet or sink, regularly smeared her entire body, face and hair with aqueaus(sp?) cream, nappy cream, yoghurt etc and just generally got into things and made a BIG mess! I think this is why it took us 9 years to have another one!
Have got two bids on ebay - a whole £1.98! Only *ahem* £98.02 to go!!0 -
glad you are starting to get some bids now. i will definatly have to start listing some items tomorrow.
well done on the comp win, nice to have unexpected items to be able to list.

Eek! Were you an only / final child?
DD's piece de resistance - aged 10 months, she got in the food cupboard, despite child locks(!), opened a bottle of red food colouring (unscrewing the top and everything) and poured it over herself. (It sounds unbelievable looking back, but she did - we have the photos!). Despite many, many baths (that all immediately turned the water blood red) she stayed bright pink for nearly a week! In fact, we have several pages in her photo album of her plastered in something - anything she could get her hands on really!
And if she wasn't tipping things out, she was climbing - in the window, on the table, on the work top, up the bookcase. Nothing was safe!
She was a big shock after DS - who never did anything naughty (and still hasn't, touch wood!).0 -
Sounds great fun lol!
