Oh how exciting - a 4D scan!! Would you be able to post some of the pics on here?? :D I've only ever had the usual scans with my 2 although I did have a scan at 41 weeks with DS and all I could see were limbs in the way! A 4D scan looks so amazing!

Hope it confirms the boy :)

Well, we had the scan and she was pretty certain it was a boy (well, it had a scrotum, so I hope so anyway!). We got half a dozen photos but can't really post them. We go back in 4 weeks though and get it done again with a DVD and CD-rom of pictures so should be able to post some of those. Funnily enough one photo looks just like a photo of DS the day he was born, same nose and mouth. At the end of the scan the baby yawned, put his arm behind his head and snuggled against the uterine wall to go to sleep. it was very sweet! My Mum said the pictures were weird and creepy though!! Still glad we went!

We also had a little walk around the shops, althogh really I seem to get tired too easily to shop(!) so didn't buy anything. DD bought a box set of Mallory Towers books though -she was going to buy the first book for £4.99, then found the box set of all 6 for £9.99 - bargain!

  • Thanks
I loved them when I was little too. I would have loved to have gone to boarding school! Think that's why I liked the Harry Potter books so much too!

Aren't Mum's just great???? :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Lol, well at least I can always rely on mine to say what she thinks! Even if it doesn't spare people's feelings (Actually my Grandma was like that in her later years, as are my aunties - I suppose thats what I will probably turn out like too!)

    Fab news about the scan!

    8th Nov for mine although it isn't a 4D one - can't wait!

Glad that you've been taking it a bit easier - just enjoy the next 15 weeks off and make your fortune on Ebay!
  • Think may have won my first cometition prize! A PS2 game came today with a compliments slip from a magazine publishers. Can't find the competition on the comps board but never mind. DS thinks the game looks rubbish so will be another thing to add to ebay.

Listed 10 things yesterday but having a bit of a giggle at myself as can't imagine anyone buying any of them! Still, as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure! Got more stuff to list today - stuff that might be easier to sell, hopefully.
