sorry to here you are having trouble with egg, these companies are so quick to let us know when we make a mistake but seem completly ignorant to there own mistakes. hopefully you will get it sorted soon and it wont effect your credit.

Funnily enough I don't really have any baby shopping urges and that's not like me at all. With the first two I had loads of stuff that I bought all through the pregnancy - this time I only have a pram and a snow suit! Not sure whether the shoppingurge will kick in when I know for definite what gender the baby is, or whether it has been suppressed by MSE-ness of whether it's just because I don't really want to go out, or what!!
Maybe the Next Christmas sale will do it (although I will be really fat by then!!!)0 -
Don't know if there's one near you, but my friend went to the Next Clearance store this morning, and ALL the maternity clothes were reduced to £5 each, whatever price it said on the ticket. I don't really need anything, but....!0

Looked up the nearest Next clearance store. I didn't even realise we had one near us. And there's a M&S outlet there too. Having said that all my money for October is accounted for and don't want to add any to the dreaded Egg card so I am resisting going (never thought would see the day when I could say that!)0

Checking the spending diary we have so far spent £2001.54 this month - includes bills - not just random spending! Mind you, looking back through my diary, this time last month we had spent £2500 so doing slightly better.
Having said that, the bill finally came for OH's MOT - £92, which we will have to pay this week, and DD needs new shoes and uniform for dancing - dread to think how much, but dance school are still waiting for new supplies.
Need to go back to the doctor tomorrow and not really sure what I have to say. I do feel a bit better - I would have said less emotional until I sobbed for an hour over a random comment made by OH yesterday - but I'm still not sleeping well and the thought of going back makes me feel sick! Will have to wait and see what the doctor says I suppose.0 -
You are obviously not well enough to go back to work yet. Be honest with your doctor and take his advice. If you are truly ready to go back, then go. If not, then take the time you need to get better.
I let the spending diary lapse, but have been prompted to start it again, so have logged back on today and hopefully will have a good run up to starting properly from 1st November.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I totally agree with Hypno - if you're not absolutely 100% certain that you're fully fit then take any opportunity you can to stay off a bit longer. Think on it not so much as for your benefit but for the baby. Although sometimes I know that sitting in the house all day can make you feel worse - being at work takes your mind off things. But it sounds as if it is fairly stressful at your work and extra stress is the last thing you need. Good luck with the doc's appt tomorrow whatever you decide.
Well done on keeping with the spending diary! I'm still following mine religiously but it is starting to become a bit of a bind! £92 isn't brilliant for the MOT, but possibly a lot better than it might have been? At least you know at last!0 -
I agree Choca, if you're not ready to go back, then do stay off - your priority has got to be your health, mental and physical, and your baby's health. Take care hun."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Well, I am officially off work now until July. The doc gave me a six week sick note that takes me up until I can start maternity leave. I went into school and saw the head and she was fine about it (to my face at least!) so that's another weight off my mind. I did however arrive at school just as they were phoning the police because one of the children had run away though - slightly worrying!
So now what do I do for 15 weeks?0 -
Enjoy some time to yourself - presuming the older 2 are at school?
