Be very very careful - Egg did this with me, took manual debit card details and the person who took them didn't take the slip to the next stage of the process and so it went straight through to Capquest and was defaulted! No notice, nothing!!!

It took me almost a year to get it sorted, but in the end, Egg paid me compensation!!! Egg paid ME :rotfl: now there's something you don't often hear!!

Anyway.....ring them back now, and make it quite clear that if any charge is made as a result of thier incompetance, you will be taking them to the ombudsman. also if it shows as a missed payment, Egg CAN correct it - they were able to wipe my "default" etc pretty quickly once my complaint was escalated.

Good, at least credit record shouldn't be affected. Will watch and see if payment comes out over next few days. I also currently have equifax credit watch so will be able to check on there as well.

I've only just noticed that your sig says you think you're having a boy! I still find myself looking at boys clothes when I go shopping, poor Natasha is 5 months old and I still haven't got used to shopping for a girl after so many years of only buying boys stuff. Poor thing, she will grow up with a complex!

Are you looking forward to the 4d scan? The pictures some people get from those are amazing.

Sorry to hear about egg, what a pain - they can definitely correct your credit file though if they do register a missed/late payment in error.

Yes, they paid me - but since then they have put my APR up on the CC to compensate!!

Oh well, it was nice to get the letter that said "sorry, here's a cheque to go someway towards putting right our humungous c*ck up" or words to that effect!!

Hi, Snaggles. I haven't really bought any clothes yet until I find out for definite (only a white snowsuit) but when I look in the shops I am really drawn to the girls' stuff - it's all so pretty and boys stuff all the same. mind you at least it's improved a little since DS was a baby / toddler - he just seemed to live in tracksuits!

I am sort of looking forward to the scan (more so I can say for definite whether it's a boy). The pictures do look good but all sort of the same - i am still not convinced that they don't just have two videos (male and female) and just give you pictures of the appropriate one!

Oh lol, for some reason that really made me giggle! Hubby has just walked in from work to find me lying on the floor with Natasha, surrounded by baby toys, laughing at the computer screen.....he thinks I've finally lost the plot!
