Good news on the comp win and well done on the ebay listings - we have got 7 things listed so far, with not much hope of getting to £100 as things stand!
Oh well, tomorrow is another day - I may go through my clothes - some still have labels and others can definitely be classed as "vintage"Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
no, but she had my brother before i did that! you will be hoping baby no 3 takes after your DS then. she has said that i was a much better teenager than him though. sounds like you really have your hands full!
I am hoping the new baby takes the best traits from both of them! DS has always been no trouble with behaviour or learning things academically but he took ages to be able to do anything physical (walk, ride a bike, push a swing, write, kick a ball, he never did crawl). It was only when he was 11 and I started teacher training that I realised he was dyspraxic. I asked his school and was told "Yeah, we though he might be and asked him if he wanted to be tested but he said no"!!! Why ask him? Why not mention something to me?
Whereas DD picks everything up easily and is a real all-rounder (academic / sporty / makes friends easily / school councillor etc.) And to be fair, since she started school she is not hard work at all; she's really sensible and kind and the more loving of the two. It was just that first four years!!
So hopefully we have had enough practice in making children to have made one using the best bits of each child we already have - if we've got it the wrong way round and the new baby has the worst bits of each I am really in for a shock!0 -

I have got quite a few things listed but don't think anything will go for more than 99p so really I need to find 101 items! And they would all need to sell!0 -
Well, wouldn't you know! The parcel that I was hoping for last week has now started to track (after the sender put in a lost parcel claim, would you believe?). It is now tracking on the parcelforce website and in a week has managed to get to another local office 20 miles from where it started (should have been delivered in 48 hours) - in fact it claims it was only collected from the customer at 3.20 today! I know the sender definitley sent it last Tuesday as I've seen the proof of postage. Do you think it has been sitting under a desk in a sorting office for a week?
Hopefully, it should now arrive tomorrow or Thursday.0 -
That's good then
I still haven't listed much - bah! Actually only listed one thing, no bids so will have to turbolist tomorrow I think....eep! No chance of £100 from this week I think

Gah! I ordered £40 of books from Book People the other day. Because I spent over £35 they added a free box of "handcrafted" Christmas cards to the order - fair enough, I thought! Looked at my statement today - they've only charged me £9.99 for them! The order I made definitely took the value of the cards back off the price but have been charged £50 for the order. Have e-mailed Book people as I didn't even really want the cards and certainly not at £10! Anyone had any experience getting money back from them -is it easy done?
Ebay - I now have 22 watchers on 13 items and 6 bids of a whole ...£7.54.
Mind you, that does include bids on two items I thought I would have no chance of selling!
Flyladying today involves the living room and stairs - always good as the easiest places to do, so should have time for the decluttering of some toyboxes. You never know, I might find more stuff for ebay!0 -
Sounds like you're full of energy today
I'm doing traditional flylady where this week is the bedroom, so not much to do today lol. Just the rest of the routines to complete!

Surprisingly I am full of energy, considering I didn't get to sleep until 2, then DD woke me at 5.30 by coming into my bed as she said hers was cold. She then proceeded to steal my pillow that I put sideways to support my bump and almost forced me out of bed! I think I am getting used to little sleep - it's only when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror that I see how wrecked I look!
I looked at the traditional Flylady but got a bit overwhelmed - I like the broken down one on the OS boards. I meant to ask you about the flylady Christmas stuff - I had a glance at the site but couldn't see what I wanted - do you have any links to Christmas the Flylady way?0 -
will look now - I like it because it's just broken down into things I can manage lol - step by step AND she's even got a little video link. Small things and all that!!

This is all I can find - the link i get to the actual day by day thing must only come through the email for some strange reason, but I'll post it up as soon as I find one of those emails - will ahev a look in my deleted box now.

how strange is that?! The flylady digest has just appeared in my inbox as I went into hotmail to look for an old one!
Here is the link for the videos - not really that much done, so I've not done a lot of it yet, but I intend to print out the holiday control journal to plan everything out!
