Hmmm...quite a good day today. Finally received £15 e-voucher for HMV from Test and Vote and also had enough Ipsos points to claim a £10 Argos voucher, putting our "vouchers towards Christmas" total up to...

    Boots: £20
    Argos: £35
    HMV: £25

Total: £80 - not a bad start and pretty good for just filling in a few surveys now and then. The kids are starting to get a bit sick of filling in surveys but it all adds up...strangely, in a way, they are subsidising their own Christmas presents - is that really mean?

Plus, my boss was out in meetings all day - that always makes the day better! And Wednesday tomorrow, therefore half the working week over with.

    Hi chocaholic :hello:
I've just been reading your diary for the 1st time and noted that on 19th May you made some reference to PMT and so no babies that month. I assume you're trying for a baby? Well, do you think the tiredness, lethargy and dizziness could mean something? ;)
    DMP starts June 2012, £38,180.

    Balance June 2015 £26,046 (paid off 32%)

Spooky! I was in fact just coming here to post exactly that! I am in fact pregnant again so I suppose that explains my lack of motivation. Strangely though I am finding it hard to get excited as I can't shake the feeling that it will all go wrong again. Went to doc's today and he very kindly put my mind at rest (NOT!) by explaining that anyone who has already had 2 miscarriages is at high risk of a third. Thanks doc! He also went onto say that nothing I do or don't do will really have any bearing on the situation either way...
He did advise I phone the midwife fairly quickly though, so maybe she has some advice...
  • Hi Chocaholic,
I've been reading your thread for the last couple of weeks and just wanted to say I am SO pleased about the pregnancy and really hope everything goes well for you!

I don't suppose you're at the rabid nest-building stage yet?! It's just that I have been studiously avoiding my washing machine this week and have run out of life's essentials. I have no hormonal changes to kick my sorry (not to say cold) a*s into gear and was wondering where my nearest pregnant lady might be living...

    Good Luck
    K

ps can anyone tell me how to put smiley things in these messages? cant see abutton anywhere??

Thanks for that. No, not at the nest building stage, far from it.

Came home from work as early as I could today as have had stomach pains all day, probably all just in my head, but who knows?

Smilies appear on the side when you write youtr message but not if you are using quick reply. hope this helps! ;)

    Hi Choc

Really hope everything goes well for you, stomach pains during the early days are quite common, I had it with both mine. I found this on the internet for someone else the other day if it helps.

Thanks- interesting reading, I didn't realise they were that common but reading it I suppose it makes sense. Anyway, I have discovered the reason for my stomach ache yesterday as I have been up a lot during the night with a stomach upset. Have taken the day off today, feel a bit guilty about doing so but I don't really want to pass it onto the kids in my class (though I would have a nice peaceful class if half of them were off sick!)

Shoe addict, thanks for taking the time (or your bosses time, lol!) to read my diary - just don't get caught!!

Anyway, think will go back to bed or an hour and see if that helps!
  • Hope you're feeling better soon! It's not tooo long til the summer holidays - not that I'm counting :j ... How old is your class?
    ps found smilies - thanks

My class are Year 2/3. The youngest in the class is still only six, the older ones are eight. It's a lovely age to teach but they can be exhausting! I am missing them today actually and feeling really guilty because I'm not there.
