Have you spent any money???? NO, so well done & carry on reading!!!! (I'm reading it too!)A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Today I have read The Time Traveller's Wife, watched Loose Women, had a little snooze on the sofa... none of these things are normally things I would do during the day. Have I done the towering pile of ironing that is threatening to spill all over my kitchen? No! Have I ebayed the things sitting in the bottom of my wardrobe? No! Have I done any cleaning whatsover other than a quick flick over the worktops? No! Have I done any planning wahtsoever for work next week? No, I have not!
Somebody please come along and give me a stern talking to...or failing that a kick up the bum!
:rotfl: I have had too many of these days recently!! Bet my ironing pile is bigger than yours :eek:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
You probably needed the rest choc, think of it as recharging your batteries.
BTW is it a good read?0 -
Bloomin' 'eck! I didn't notice anyne sneaking on and posting yesterday!
Zippy, it's a fab read. When I said reading I should have said rereading as it must be the fourth time I've read it but it's really good. It takes a bit of thinking about but I read it and it went straight into my Top 5 books that I read over and over list.
Lol, BTW none of you are very good at being stern...how long would you have let me loll around reading???0 -
Ooops, what I actually came on here to say was, it's only the 4th of the month and I'm broke already. It might be pasta everynight for the rest of the month!0

Nowt wrong with pasta.
better go and buy some Smartprice tinned chopped tomatoes though to go with it.
Everything goes further with pasta, bunged in the oven and called "pasta bake". Couple of sausages, or a tin of tuna. Whatever is around, bung in with cooked pasta, herbs, and tinned toms and bung in the oven for 20 mins and away you go!
A jar of pesto costs about a £ and lasts for ever. Really good with pasta and veggies. YUM!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Get over to the Old Style board - I'm sure you'll be able to come up with enough pasta recipes to keep you going until the end of the month!
I keep looking at The Time Traveller's Wife and wondering whether to get it - now I'm going to have to go and buy it, you've convinced me!
Oh, and the other day, my ironing pile was as tall as my 6 year old - he wanted me to take a photo of him standing next to it but I refused....wish I'd done it now so I could show you you're not alone lol."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
