RBS switch - which Scottish branch have you decided to transfer to?

    got a letter yesterday its all changed over , checked online and new sort code /acc no is showing .

    Am I too late to request a transfer?

    Reason I ask is because I have a bad debit with RBS (loan and overdraft) and just opened an account with Santander to avoid any possible 'offsetting' as now have my wages into my Santander account.

    Any advice please?

    Are the accounts still up and running for have they been passed onto collections?

    My old RBS Current Account is still active, tho it is in an authorised overdraft.

    My loan is in the collection centre however been making payments (as agreed), however in the middle of a complaint case on that so they haven't chased me for some of the arrears yet until we resolve that.

    Give them a Call on 0800 210 0214 and see what they say.

    Opening hours: 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and
    10am to 4pm weekends and Bank Holidays.

    Tell them you wish to transfer your account(s) to a scottish branch.

    It would be wise as im sure once your accounts are transferred to santander they will be able to offset between accounts.

    I know it was extended in January but im not sure when the cut off date is now to be honest (I don't work in a branch).

    If you give them a call tomorrow they will be able to tell you whats what etc.
