I thought you said you had a current account with Leeds Building Society

I have the Albion Cheque account with them. Is that a Current or Savings account?

Current I guess with a chequebook??

Well some say the Coventry First account is a hybrid savings account
Forget that it is a "current account". It is a Hybrid Savings Account and by the word "savings" that tends to mean not "languishing" in the interest free overdraft for months on end and be in credit most of the time.

I have a VERY high credit score and got declined for the account in 2006 and had to appeal with pay slips and old bank statements to get accepted for Coventry First.

Also there are accounts known as "High Interest Cheque accounts"

So what is the Leeds Albion Cheque? Current, Savings or High Interest Cheque Account?

All my income goes into the Cov First and I use it to pay the running costs. Albion Cheque just has money in it sitting there.

I have Cov First, Leeds Albion Cheque, Monmouthshire Income Generator, Premium Bonds, Index Linked Savings Certs.

Its a High Interest Cheque account rather than a current account

I think the test is whether the account allows an overdraft

So you have a £250 cheque guarantee card then ?

The Leeds Premier Current account is a current account though and I thought that was the one you applied for

NO YOU DO NOT HAVE A VERY HIGH CREDIT SCORE...WITH NO DATA ON CRA'S you have a POOR credit score, savings do not matter, land registry data does not matter (until appeal) THE COV...is sub standard banking for rich kids with no ability to manage credit...get used to it :rotfl:

I have no credit. Nor do I have any real desire for it.

That said my Cov 1st has an unused £1,000 overdraft limit so your statement is futile.

Also if my "rating" is so s**t as you think why did I get accepted for a Leeds Albion Cheque account without appeal? This has a £250 cheque guarantee card.

Is that a CG card or Debit/CG?
