Boo to the Next statement, it will be good when it's gone though.
I've set myself a target of raising £1500 in November which means selling 500 items. Maybe we can encourage each other.
do you have a busines account on ebay? as they now will only let you list 20-odd items at a time on your personal account. or are you planning on a carboot sale?
i have both personal and business accoints on ebay (just done my blinkin tax return:() and hope to open a shop soon on my business one for xmas - i'll buy and sell anything, me:rotfl:
time to update my sig!0 -
Can I add another item to you to do list
8. Learn to say NO sometimes
Next time soneone says Does anyone want to volunteer for ...........
Think HWG said I should say NO just a little busy at the moment but maybe next time.
This debt busting is hard work, you sound like me always running around doing 100 things but you must look after yourself too.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

jwil 500 items:eek: mind you I now have 3 huge boxes sat in my dining room ready to list plus a shelf in a large cupboard full of ds/dd's unused toys. I'm not sure if these will be ebay'ed of put in the loft for a bootfair next year, but the 3 boxes are definately ready for ebay.
FSM, I didn't realise a personal account is limited to 20 items at a time. Mind you I don't intend listing more than that as I find posting the items quite a bind. And the old ladies standing in the queue huffing gets annoying!!!!
HWG:o you are so right, I need to say no. I am getting better at saying no. I even avoided the school AGM in order to not feel guilty about not volunteering to be the secretary for the PTA!!!
My big problem is wanting everyone else to be happy, but in doing that I make myself stressed. So I will take your advice and think what will HWG say:D:D:D
Progress on the action plan yesterday;
1) [STRIKE]sort the washing up, tidy kitchen.
[/STRIKE] done
2) [STRIKE]do some washing(where does it all come from? I think it breeds!)
[/STRIKE] done
3) [STRIKE]do the payroll for my 2nd job and place the order they need
[/STRIKE] done
4) write some letters for the PTA asking for donations for their christmas bazaar(why do I volunteer myself for these jobs?!)maybe later:rotfl:
5) put the clean clothes away not yet
6) [STRIKE]do an online shop as the cupboards are bare[/STRIKE] done, dleivered and put away
7) put some things on ebay not yet but I have found more things to be listed
More jobs to add today
8) label things to go into the loft, get dh to put them up their and find the Halloween box, while try and find it, i'm sure I saved things last year!!!
and before I do anything else I must get dressed:o:D0 -

time to update my sig!
Since when FSM? I have more than that on my personal account now, and have done for ages as we are trying to clear the house. I've not seen any messages saying that! Nor have they stopped me listing anything.
I hope not, Ebay is my lifeline at the moment!
I'm not a business, just trying to clear a house and have loads to get rid of. Once that's done, I shall relish not having to list on ebay any more! We do boot sales too, but at this time of year they are weather dependent obviously."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I hate the posting and packing part on ebay too. I'm not convinced that you are only allowed 20 items on at a time as you are allowed 100 free listings each month at 99p. I have more than that anyway, but I don't start mine at 99p.
I agree though, it's a nightmare standing at the post office with loads of parcels. I normally print my postage at home and drop them at the sorting office now. They will stamp the proof of posting for me.
I agree that you should say no more though!

2 things left :j
Jwil, i'm never sure i've got the right postage cost though so always go and get things weighed in the Post Office. I could just do a few each day as when I drop ds at pre-school I park outside of one, and on Mon and Fri I don't go to work(although do my 2nd job whilst ds is at pre-school) so I could take some parcels then.
I should stop making excuses and get ebaying!!
I will heed your advice and stop volunteering myself:o I do have a enough to do with ebaying and overtime to be done, plus my 2 jobs of course:D0 -

Well done!
I've got some kitchen scales which I use, and I've never had a problem with these yet. But the first few times I did it, I was so nervous as to whether I'd got it right or not. I guess I've done it so much now, I don't think about it any more.
You definitely do have enough on it seems!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Sorry for my absence I've felt shocking all weekend, I'm wondering if having a week off has meant my body had time to let little bugs in? Bleugh! I think it's been flu, hot/cold/hot/cold, sweaty, achey, cough. Very attractive:D:D Still not 100% but much better than I was.
I really need to be better asap as I have lots to do but my plan is to tr and get a few hours work done tomorrow, although that'll be tricky as dd is off school, but I will try for the evening. Then I have to work tues/wed/thurs, but only if I feel better, otherwise is a day off. Tuesday evening I have persuaded dh to help ebay list:T so that it finishes sunday.
Friday I plan to catch up a bit with pre-school things but I had to do some bits over half term(officially only work term time) so I won't worry if I don't do much/anything.
Right i'm gonna sign off as the computer isn't doing much for my neck ache/eyes. Will be back with more interesting thoughts tomorrow no doubt:rotfl:0 -

That's a relief, I was starting to worry then!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
