Hi again. Just a thought, but as you live in a rural area, have you tried any local farms etc? I had horses when I was younger and there were always stray dogs and cats appearing. They come as there are other animals and usually food outdoors that they can get to easily.
I am not able to post links as a new user so I have added a few more sites, that you could try, to the wall on your facebook group.
I really hope that you find him soon and that you are all reunited.

please be aware that when 'inviting' people to join the group on Facebook, the lovely people there have changed the way this works. Rather than sending an invite and leaving it up to the people to decide if they wish to join or not, it automatically add them to the group - and automatically sets the default options so that every time someone comments or gets added, you receive an email. So everyone is getting spammed by facebook!
**IF YOU ARE RECEIVING ENDLESS SPAM EMAILS ABOUT THIS GROUP PLEASE READ**
Facebook, in their 'wisdom' have changed how Groups work. Instead of simply sending an invite to your friends to join a group, you send what you think is an invite, but it is actually something which automatically adds them to a group they know nothing about! An...d if that isnt bad enough, FB automatically set eveyones group setting to receive emails everytime someone comments!! Please read on, and I will explain how to stop these emails happening, and also how to leave the group should you wish. I apologise for all of this! This group was set up with the best of intentions to help get this lovely doggy home, and everyone is now being spammed because of it! damn you, facebook!!
TO STOP GETTING NOTIFICATIONS: Go the grey box on the top right of the Facebook group page, entitled 'edit settings' then uncheck the 'email notifications box'.
That should stop it *crosses fingers, toes etc etc*
please notify your friends if they ask!0 -

Thank you all for your support. I have posted a request on the Paul Grady live website so hoping for a response.
I had a call today from a rescue centre saying they had had a dog brought in with similar markings to Foxy. Although it was the most lovely little dog it was not Foxy.
I have however posted this dog on other lost dog sites to try to reunite him with his owner, in the hope that I can help someone else like the people on here are helping me.
Thanks again. I will keep you upto date. I am visiting three other dogs homes tomorrow, just in case.0 -

yeah they saw the leaflet that we put through their door. Roy has been well and truly spoilt and is currently fast asleep on the back of the chair. Other than waking to feed the baby, I should hopefully sleep better.
We've given the family across the road a box of chocolates for the children helping to look and we've got the couple who rang chocolates, champagne and a bunch of flowers as well as a thank you card.
We are going to make sure the family who is on holiday (the house in which he was found) have our details so if there is any damage etc, then we can sort it out. I didn't see/smell anything but 3/4 days stuck in a house he must've done something, although they may have had a litter tray since they own a cat although he was in a cattery.
I don't want to repeat the last 4 days again.0
