  • I hope you find him.

I'd be in pieces if our cat went missing...
  • He looks beautiful.Hope you find him soon.
Our 22yr old cat went missing and like yours she never went astray-notices went up,we knocked on doors and had all the local children we knew keeping an eye out for her.I lost count of the number of people who told me she may have gone away to die:(however after 36 hours and still looking we saw her cowering in someones garden 200 yards away from where we lived (scared of another cat)and we were so pleased to get her back-we think she was too.weeks later local people and children asked if she was back ok and it was lovely to think some people, even strangers and those who disliked cats usually, cared.local dog walkers were helpful too.
our other cat went missing and once again I was knocking on doors, leaving notes-this time he was in our friends garage and although they had looked once they did not see him first time around.fingers crossed you find him soon x

    Hi
I would also try the Hoover bag trick as well.
Basically vac all the house (or just where your furbabes go) and empth the vac on the gardens. The smell of home might just bring him back.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

Thank you for all your support and joining Foxys Facebook group now has 243 members in 24 hours which is great, hopefully many more will join.

I am trying to contact Paul Grady and as suggested on another forum Grahame Norton, but cannot find any contact details for them or their shows.

I spoke to someone at ITV central news who are supposed to be discusing the matter today to see if they can run with the story but I am not hopeful as it has now been a week since I first contacted them and they do not seem to realise that they longer it takes the less chance they have of getting him back. Although to be fair the BBC have not replied at all.

If anyone knows Paul Grady or Graham Norton personally or any dog loving celebrity who may be able to add some clout to the campaign I would be eternally grateful if you could let me know. In the meantime please get as many people as you can to join Foxys facebook group. If anyone has got Paul to make an announcement for their lost pet how did you do this?

A lost dog is in the media eyes just a lost dog. A lost dog with a large facebook group may just catch their interest and add weight to the campaign.

I am trying my hardest to get more and more people to join Help Find Foxy, I know from my own experience how devestating it is to lose a pet so I was as much as your family for a safe return of Foxy.

I'll keep posting everywhere I can to get people aware that Foxy is out there.

Please join the facebook group it might make a difference http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_159584310738546&ap=1

  • i ve joined, i do hope he is safe and well, and comes back to you soon, i wish i had some suggestions but the only thing i can think of is keep praying , i did this when my beautiful old cat George was missing for 3 weeks, i was distraught and prayed to my late grandmother to help him find his way home, a few nights later he came back! she loved animals when she was alive i'm sure she helped,
i keep checking back to this thread hoping and praying he's been found,

    Roy has been found happy.gif
a couple phoned to say they'd seen him sat at a window of their next door neighbours house, who had gone on holiday on monday morning and had left the cat flap on one way! luckily they had given this couple a key whilst they were away so he's been back for about 30 mins and is very hungry.
So glad he's ok, thank you for all the tips and the kind words x

Still no good news, I must check six times a day.
I was reading tips on finding lost dogs. Hand posters to taxi drivers and speak to post office staff, as people often chat in their local shop. Also, I wonder if the PO sorting place would be good enough to place a poster where the delivery drivers and post men and women would see it.
Same goes for anywhere that employ drivers, eg Autoglass.
Good luck, hope Foxy's back with dad soon.
