60% and £100 credit is achievable if reports are to be believed. Also £25 for full package (https://www.sky.com/offer25 - see discussion on HUKD).

I cancelled the TV about 6 months ago so logged in to My Sky out of interest and there was the offer for the Complete pack for £25 a month on a 12 month contract or any other package with 50% off.

...and that, in a nutshell, is the answer for anyone who moans that they can't get offers when they first phone up -actually CANCEL and if necessary let the service get switched off -I suspect that KTF would have found those offers available a lot sooner than 6 months if he had been interested in restarting the service!:)...and remember that you can use these offers as a starting point for negotiating.:T

With sky tv it is so easy to get the £100 credit and 50% off any tv bundle.

This week i have done it for 4 different family members. They have given me their log in details and i have done the rest every time doing exactly the same thing....

9am go on live chat tell them you want to cancel tv package , they offer you something little less say 10% you say no and they confirm cancel.

10am sign back into sky account 2 out of 4 had the offer of 50% if you click on the my sky tab.

11am click on the live chat section of thinking about coming back to sky (think that is important because you then speak to the indian centre)

All you then say is that you have been offered the 50% off (even if you haven't)and they will agree to it and probably offer you £50 credit also ,you then just say that isn't quite enough for you to stay and then they will offer you the £100 credit.

£100 credit seems max they will offer with one family member i did push a bit more as been with sky for 20 years and after the advisor speaking to manager couple of times they also offered the 50% off and £100 credit plus no 12 month contract!!

So basically within a couple of hours of cancelling you should easily be able to get new deal at fraction of price.

I have now saved family members just under £2k in total which is a crazy thought!

Thanks mikeizz, did as you said, worked a treat .

I have top package with sky sports and movies, HD pack and 2 multirooms. Last years deal just finished so was going up to full price £98.25.
Cancelled as only offered 10% off . My sky account showed 35% offer straight away. I went on live chat and said I have been offered 50% off,(on package , not multirooms) They said ok that's £63 a month for 12 months and gave me £50 credit . I asked if they could check with the boss to push for £100 credit . Went away , came back no problem . So I am happy for another year . Works out £55 month ,

Just got 50% off and £100 credit for twelve months on a Live chat with India
  • I had variety TV package, unlimited broadband and unlimited anytime calls on a 10 month special offer which I haggled for last year for £34.50 pm . This was due to go up from next month to £58.40 so did live chat today and was offered £2 off so £56.40. Said wasn't good enough and was then offered £44 for 9 months on a 12 month contract. I asked to cancel and this was agreed and given all the legal but.
Immediately went onto my Sky and there was a 50 % offer on there so went back on live chat and asked how much it would be and was told same package would be £33.50. I asked about upgrading to Family package as wanted the box sets and got this for £36.50 total . I then said that there had been talk of a £100 credit and he immediately said he could apply £50. I asked him to ask his boss for £100 and he then came back after a couple of minutes and said he couldn't apply £100 on my package but could do £75 which I accepted.
So £75 credit and £36.50 pm for Family package, unlimited broadband and anytime calls. Quite pleased with myself.
