Thanks anyway!
Sorry to hear that. I guess you have two options; sit tight and see if they call or use the number Alias_Omega published and say you had a missed call. Good luck with whatever you decide to do0 -
Cancelled sky on Saturday evening got a call today from a 0800 number they offered 35% off I turned it down they could not offer anything better. Will they call back again? the man did not seem that interested. A few years ago I got an offer of 50% off the first time they called.I would like to be a glow-worm.

You can always ring up and take the 35% offer the day before you are to be disconnected. Its up to you...
How strong are you?
Can you survive without Sky?0 -
Live chat seemed unavailable all day so called 03442 410 709 "request a MAC code" (Sky LLU so didn't need one) and mentioned going to Plusnet. Couldn't do line rental saver (apparently this is coming back to Sky soon) but got 12 months free broadband on a 12 month recontract which will do.0

Still want sky pay them £91 a month with broadband and line rental included. They did call back today and offered 50% off told them I will think about it. We need a new box the old one is on it's last legs. They could not let me have a new box. I have an offer on my account for £49 asked if I could take that. If I do I will lose the 50% discount. She wanted to send someone to look at it at a cost of £69. But could have multi room at 25% off and would get a new box that way I turned that down. Moving my phone and broadband to somewhere else not happy with sky keeps cutting out all he time.I would like to be a glow-worm.

Without threatening to cancel they weren't prepared to do it the first time (as the free BB is for new customers only).0 -

They are playing games on the line rental saver front.
Having discontinued it a year ago, they officially declared, on their forum site, that there was no prospect of it being reinstated, despite people saying that other providers were actually introducing that offer.
However, then they started offering it selectively (see posts on here)and I was offered it when I said I was looking at figures for other companies, but I refused and accepted free line rental , on my third attempt.0 -
Sky computer definitely says 'no' on any offers for us at the moment.
we're paying nearly £120 per month for everything with Sky.
i've just wasted nearly 2 hours with online chat - only offered 50% off multiroom (£ 5.62 discount) & 10% off tv pack for 6 months (£6.92 discount).
declined these & said to put through cancellation for TV, then i got told:
"So you have a price freeze on your Movies and Sports, this will be removed and you will not get that back. The OnDemand connector will also shut down and the Sky Go Extra that was free. All this will be lost & not be available again"
erm!!! no, don't bother then...
customer for 15 years but they know we're not in a cabled area & our options are very limited for a comparable service.
i said about the discounts that i know others have got, "sorry, nothing available on your account, try again in 2 weeks". complete & utter waste of my time & theirs today.0 -

They generally won't offer you more than a token before you cancel. Only when a cancellation request has been received will the offers come and even then the best usually comes when the TV goes off.
You'll only lose the services that the agent told you that you would lose once your cancellation is completed 31 days after giving notice. Until then, the only actual service you lose is Box Office (as due to the way Box Office is billed they won't let you order something on an account pending cancellation).
If you don't look like you're serious about cancelling, Sky have little motivation to offer you anything exceptional.0
