Does anyone know of any offers going with BT Sport on Sky Broadband? They want £15 a month plus £15 connection fee but I'm not prepared to pay that tbh it's just so I can have a quiet life because DBF loves his footballWins so far - Revlon Lip Butter, Teapigs Matcha tea, Johnsons Face Care Gentle Exfoliating Wash:j0

AFAIK there's only two ways to buy BT Sport: either directly from BT or as part of Virgin Media's top tier TV package. You can save £12pm on the former if you have BT broadband but I haven't heard of anyone getting a discount on the price otherwise. Maybe there's cashback deals, have you checked those websites?
Also note that if you have a Sky box and viewing card (you don't need a Sky subscription), you can watch BT Sport on that (including HD) if you have it.0 -

He got a letter to confirm this too.
Could this be why there were no other offers for you as you would have got that one by default if you kept the service?
Just a though
I only cancelled at the very last moment, ie with 31 days left in the minimum term, and had no communications at all.0 -
It has been confirmed, on Sky's forum, that line rental saver will not be offered generally, but that it may be offered according to someone's circumstances. ie Haggle and you may get it0

I am currently paying 45 per month non hd for Movies, Kids and Sky channels. I have been a customer with no reductions ever over the last 11.5 years.
Sky offered £28 pounds per month for non-hd TV with only the movies and sky channels (so no family pack or sports or documentaries).
The offer made on hd was £39.99 for the box including movies and sky channels and then add £39.50 per month for the hd service. Then Credit the account £50. Which is £464 per year. I am currently paying £534 non hd. Not like for like as I have to drop a set of channels (Kids) but save £70 per year to go HD.
Comparing that £39.50 per month (with the additional box cost of £39.99 on top) with the same thing for a new customer- the new customer will pay only £29 per month movie bundle, box supplied for free. So that would cost me an extra £160 per year because I am loyal.
So I cancelled. Was I being dumb? I am hoping the retentions team can do something for me.0 -
I've just called Sky, having had my tv go off last week,to negotiate on phone/bb, with a possibility of tv.
The young man asked about what deals I knew of and I quoted Tesco, PlusNet and Talk Talk (the latter being very cheap, but I'm wary of service, having tried to call them for some information-computer says 'no' situation).
I can get the same bb/phone/anytime calls package from Tesco for £19.96 (or £14.96, if I make do with e&w calls), after taking into account cashback and a £6 router charge.
From Plusnet, because of a £75 voucher, the price is £15.22, where a £10 cashback will more than cover the £5.99 router charge.
I was offered line rental saver and free broadband, making it £16.70 a month, but he insisted that there could be no movement on free line rental. (I forgot to ask if this was plus £2.50 for no tv)
When I asked about going back to tv, he said he'd have to put me through to the tv dept, as he only had basic prices...then suddenly could do Variety for £14 (ie half price), but then denied and insisted that £50 credit was no longer on offer.
£16.70 , which means protection against the line price increase, isn't bad, but PlusNet are better and then, perhaps, I'd get a credit with tv.
He asked if he could ring me back, when I'd thought about things and we agreed 6pm, today....but, not unusually , he didn't call.0 -

Hi DragonQ, can I just double check with you about BT Sport?
I'm a Sky tv customer, my service is going off early next week. I get my b/band from BT. Does this mean I will still be able to watch BT sport on my Sky box, even when Sky service has gone off? Or am I misunderstanding ? I thought none of the channels on it would work through the Sky box when it gets switched off, so if BT sport is still there that's a nice unexpected bonus. If not, no loss as I wasnt expecting anyway.0 -

You will still be able to view BT sport after your SKY sub ends. If you have a SKY+ box you will just lose the ability to record/pause/rewind the channels.0
