    Hi,

Has anyone had any luck getting a discount on the Sky HDpack (£10.50 a month) Sky don’t seem to want to budge on this???

    Thanks
Yes I recently got the hd pack for £5.25 for 12 months.

Ditto, along with the 12 months 75% discount it was too good to pass up.

But again we had left, it was part of their lost leader deal to get us back, so not sure if you will get this while still a current subscriber.
  • Well my SKY is due to be turned off on 6th Dec and I am still waiting for that elusive phone call.

Why do you deem 25% a loss leader ?
Any income for Sky is more than running the account costs surely ?

I have the full sky package and sky broadband. I want bt sports but think the 15 pound activation fee is a joke. Has anyone on sky managed to get bt sports and bt waiver the activation fes? Thanks guys.
  • My sky went off on the 18 November and today got a email for 50% off if I come back.

May hive them a ring tomorrow to see if I can get a deal with a new 2TB box as well.

    Can only ask ?
  • currently on £72.50 a month for old hd Entertainment pack inc sky F1, fibre BB, line rental any time call. Had a tedious 50 minute call to be offered just £10 a month off BB for 12 months and an upgrade to entertainment extra + for 25p a month but i lose F1 unless I pay for sky sports.

    pretty poor really...
Never pass up the opportunity to take a pee!:p

You won't get actual deals unless you cancel.

    Absolute nonsence.
The deal may be limited but you do get them without having to cancel.
This year I was offered 20% on threat of cancellation (Refused)
35% within days of cancellation (Also refused)

Hence actual deals. It's tough to label 10% off their ridiculous standard prices a "deal".

Sorry, I did actually mean starting the cancellation process. You're right that you don't necessarily have to go through with it and you might get deals before the 31 day period is over.
