hi am currently paying 41.50 a month for sky, phoned them today and they offered me 20% off to 31.00 for 9 months what do others think about this should I be able t get a better deal ?0

For those of you looking for a 50% off Sky code, there is currently 50% off for 6 months with £194.25 cashback on complete bundle.
I'm looking for TV only, possibly Complete bundle too.
It works out like this:
Usual annual cost = £807
OR
some odd discount slightly less than 50% for 6 months (£36.25) = £217.50
plus full price for 6 months = £403.50
Total £621 Minus £194.25 cashback = £426.75
Which works out at ~ £35.56
Which is actually less than the 50% deal because it's not 50% - it's just over 47%The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

I'm trying to get the above deal (half price for 6 months plus the cashback) and was wondering if its possible to also use the recommend a friend code to get my mum and I free vouchers? It doesn't seem to let me do both?0
-
No you can't get vouchers with offers.0
-
It does say 'Not available with any other offers' in the legal details section, at the bottom of the Introduce a Friend FAQs page.0
-
Where can I find this 50% off deal please?0

Could anyone kindly suggest how I could attempt to prolong the current offer? Was thinking about contacting Sky to cancel the whole lot or should I retain a minimum package to avoid another contract. It is a hope I may receive contact from Sky retentions. Package is HD/3D, Sports, Movies, Entertainment Extra, Unlimited BB and weekend calls.
Thanks.0 -
You'll have to contact Sky directly. Any extension to such an offer is obviously discretionary.0

Thanks for the reply. I understand it discretionary. However would it be best to cancel the whole lot or to retain a minimum package to avoid another contract in the event Sky do not offer another discount.0 -

They may just allow you to cancel, they may not. It's not an exact science...0
