If you log into your online Sky Account - there is section called ''Offers'' ....

Find it under My Sky, then the Upgrade section.

    Worth looking at sometime, maybe?

Do you mean you got just the Sports Pack or Entertainment plus the Sports Pack?

Sorry, it was Ent + Sports. Should have made it clear.

Cancelled Sky on 22nd Jan. No offers, no calls - got disconnected on 22nd Feb. Was waiting for a call last week as well but still didn't receive a call.

HOWEVER, I did call them today and told them that I received a mail asking me to call Sky to see what they can do for them. (I never received such a mail). Surprisingly they checked the account for offers and told me that I can have 12 months half price, no contract - any package I want to have. I went for the Sports Pack with HD. So if you have been waiting for sometime for "the call" may be it's worth to give them a call instead!!!

Would love to get my hands on Ent + Sports for half price for a year.

Just going to need to miss at least the Malaysian Grand Prix with no Sky Sports F1

just rang VM after noticing that my DD had beenstealthily increasing every month for no particular reason (I've not been usingthe phone or spending any extra). The overseas call centre said it was due todays in the month, but I pointed out that I'd been charged £52.24 this monthand prior to this it had been £48.88 (Jan) £48.67 (Dec) £48.60 (Nov) £48.35(Oct) £48.25 (Sept) and so on and as Feb has the least days out of all thecalendar months then it clearly wasn't the reason. The bill on the website doesn'tbreak it down at all; it just had a section saying "bundle charges"which I noticed listed a "V HD monthly fee". When I first subscribed Iwas offered HD and refused as I have a standard definition CRT TV so no point, annoyed I looked to their website for more info but nowhere could I find outhow much this charge was :-/

After a 15min waiting time, the guy on the other end ofthe line broke down all the prices and said that I wasn't being chargedanything for a HD monthly fee... seems rather strange wording then especiallyas it's under the charges section. So I've been paying £18 a month for L TV,£4.60 for L phone (unlimited evening and weekends) £14.99 line rental and £14.65for L broadband (20mb). I noted on their website that their current basic is30mb and individually it's £14.50 after new customer promos. I could apparentlyonly have that if I signed in for another 12 month contract, which I have nointerest in doing. He said that the bundles make some individual items moreexpensive but others cheaper?! surely as a package they should all be equal toor cheaper than their individuals, not more expensive?! the current individualstandard prices advertised for my level of TV is £16.50 and phone is £4.60. Soall in all, I've been paying £52.24 for something that should be £50.59 with a TiVobox (and I have their standard free box). Not a massive price difference Iknow, but as a matter of principle I felt they should at least match if notbetter it. After a lengthy conversation, we reduced my package down to matchtheir essential collection as (having done a channel audit) it's all I reallyneed anyway, and reduced my price down to £38.99, which is £2 cheaper thantheir current advertised prices. They could have done better if I'd agreed to a12 month contract but it's still saving me £13 a month and I'm curious to seehow bSkyb's buying O2 broadband will affect the offers available!

Feeling quite chuffed! Thought I should share my good fortune with others so they might get a similar deal.

I've been with BT for about 2 years, and just realized that my contracts are open so was shopping around to move to a cheaper deal.
Calls to BT didn't really end up in a result, but their online chat system was superb. The online knowledge was much higher than the phone representative.

    My current package:
BT Infinity Option 2 (but with their older slower 38mb speed - unlimited but with heavy traffic shaping)
    Any time calls
    Annual line rental
Total 31.50 a month for package + 10.75 for BT line rental

    Revised deal:
Unlimited BT Infinity Option 2 (76MB Unlimited without traffic shaping)
    Weekend only calls
    TV Essentials package
    Youview box (299 retail)
    Annual line rental
Total monthly 17.50 + 10.75 Annual line rental + once off Youview 49.99 activation fee :money:

They basically threw in the TV package for free on top of the option 2 broadband package.
I didn't push the Sainsbury voucher, but that would be the only way to top this.
Oh and confirm this entire deal is a 12 month contract only - so no 18 month crap.

I'm not really interested in Youview and plan to ebay the unit and pick up the HDR-1000s Freesat box so I can use the DLNA media streaming functionality from my home server.
Final comment - I am a power user but even with my usage I don't fully utilize the Infinity 2 bandwidth, especially if they've sorted traffic shaping. I inquired about a cheaper option using Unlimited Infinity 1 and it was only 20 pence cheaper (or something silly)...

Yeah I managed to get my BT Infinity Option 2 (unlimited) dropped from £26pm to £17.25pm (and they threw in an upgrade from Weekend Calls to Evening & Weekend Calls) by just complaining that other companies offered the same product for less. New 12 month contract but doesn't bother me - it's cheaper than any new customer deals right now.

my 1st year of sky, which I had half price through a friends code, expires on 20th March. I emailed them to cancel, they rang me asking why, I said I wouldnt be able to afford it when it was full price. I only have hd and the entertainment+ package, which half price was £18.60 a month. They could only offer me £30 for 6 months, or £32 for 9 months. I declined and the cancellation is going through. Just waiting with fingers crossed now for them to ring me before the 20th!!

Well, had the call today, got my half price for 12 months back and HD for £2.50, total per month now £15.75!! LOVE IT!!!! :T:T:T
You're so very special, I wish I was special
