They rang me on my mobile last week and asked me if I would stay if they could offer me a deal. I was at work and asked them to phone me back later, still not been called now so presuming they only call once. Contract ends on 3rd March.0

Don't panic. They'll call you on whatever number they have on record for you.
For me, they called twice as I missed the first call. Once in the evening and the next day during the afternoon, both on my landline.
It probably makes a difference how long you've been with them. My guy emphasised over and over that the fact I'd been with them over 10 years meant that they wanted to reward my loyalty.
And if they don't ring, you can always ring them just before you get cut off to see whether there's anything they can do. If you're worried this might weaken your bargaining position, you can wait for something to come through the post. People recently have had a letter suggesting calling them to see if they have any offers that might persuade you to stay.December 2010 wins - 12 month Four Four Two subscription; Alcatel OT 708 phone; Miffy cuddly toy; Nivea gift pack0 -
To answer my own post, following my missed call on Wednesday evening I has a second call yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately I was at work and they told my daughter they would call back after 6.30 which they failed to do.
As I said earlier, my cancellation wasn't a ploy as I am probably going to Youview with BT. The Sky discounts do seem attractive though.0 -

Just because someone got a deal/gets it cheaper than you doesn't mean they will automatically apply it to your account as well.0 -

Bear in mind though you'll likely be paying full price for 6 months too.0 -
