Hi
I ordered sky+ with the 50% off codes released last week - just basic sky entertainment with a sky+ box.
Should be £10.75pm - but I just got my 1st bill for £20.50...full price.
I have been on the online live help chat for 45minutes and he says the code expired and there are no offers on my account.
I got the code in the 1st morning release of codes and used it straight away in the morning. It went through showing 50% off but I have no emails showing prices and they have no record of it!
He is emailing their "promotions" department but I am not hopeful - what should I do? Has anyone else had any issues with the code?
He also mentioned in live chat that my account said I had ordered it through a third party and not through Sky directly. I did order it on Sky.com but as I live in a tower block of flats with a communal dish - they used a third party installer. Has anyone else had an issue with this or anything similar?
Thanks for any help!0 -
I dont believe that for one second.
Thats less than 50% of the true cost, and SKY wont do that for anyone.
Depends if it includes bb and phone or just the tv,
I had sky world, which was everything, including movies, sports, hd full call package and unlimited bb and 1 multi room sub for £40 as a result of a big complaint to exec support team but only for 6 months.
They won't discount by a single penny now though so I've cancelled.0 -
We received a letter off Sky about 6 months ago saying that we are good customers and they have decided to give us the HD channels for free.
That felt really odd, maybe someone else has had this?0 -

It's taking me to the checkout... can you try and repost? Really want to get this offer if I can!0 -
Well I take it back, despite the sky being adamant that there was no chance at all of any discount this time around they have rung and done us the 50% off deal for another 12 months on the TV, no tie in.
Wouldnt budge on the phone and BB, probably becuase we didnt put the cancellation in and intented to let the new company just take over the line, but to be honest the huge price reduction on the TV package means were happy to stick with them again for another year.0 -
