HOow quick after cancelling did they call you with 50% offer?
Your notice period is a month... I was three weeks into my notice period this time before they rang me. Last year I was 2 days away from being cut off....
Its a how long is a piece of string question... they might not even ring at all, but I guarantee that if they don't ring, you'll not be cut off for more than 2 months before you get a letter through offering 50% off.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

... they can't make an offer if you don't answer. They may give up easily, so answer and find out the offer!

Sky+ is disabled although you can pay them £10(ish) a month to get this functionality back.0 -
The benefits of a Freesat HD box being the record feature and more channels then? I'm calling Sky on Feb 22 to put my notice in. My mate & brother have both kindly offered to let me have my notebook as a device on their SkyGo so I can watch football. I doubt Sky can do anything to keep me but we'll see.0

This became the stumbling block for me. Buying a Freesat HD box which records will cost at least £140 (for a lesser brand like Bush - much more for a better one). I've got a perfectly good Sky one under the telly so paying a tenner a month sounds a waste of money but I'm not sure it is. If you buy a freesat box you'll be less inclined to return to Sky because of your outlay. Personally, I think that's only an option if you really have no intention of going back to Sky.0
