Hi All
Given notice with VM, with a hope that they can reduce or offer more, but not really getting far.
Best offer is $55 M+ 30mbps standard phone
Just wondering if its a wait and see, and what the best offer anyone has managed.
thanking you all in anticipation.

p.s. Sky isn't really an option as we live out in the sticks with unbearably slow BB

Prob not a good time to try and deal with either SKY or Virgin..... Both had offers running up until the end of November and both now finished! Most people who were going to swap or negotiate a new deal have done so by now in time for xmas

Just rang Virgin I wanted to move an additional set top box from one bedroom to another and they wanted £99 to do it.
So I left it a couple of weeks so i wasn't being too obvious and said I was moving to Sky.......... and guess what now they will do it for nothing ....... but wait they also increased my broadband speed from 30mb to 100mb! and ............ they even reduced my bill by an extra 5.20 per month it was going up another £3 in February so in effect its nearly£10................................... haggle haggle I say!!!!

Had Sky for 12 months (no contract) 50% for the last 12 months, which was offered after the year before I had the same offer and it had ran out so I cancelled, so they offered me that again before the line was fully cut of if I recall correctly.

What are the chances of them doing this again, for the 3rd year in a row? Thinking of taking up their phone line + broadband too

called sky was honest, said i wanted to stay but felt packages were cheaper elsewhere and was prepared to leave unless there was something they could do, i got 1 years line rental discounted, originally at £12.25 then it was increased recently to £14.50, a saving of over £150

i just spoke to sky...best she could do was remove the hd pack and give me 10% discount...so total monthly was still going to be 38? whereas virgin are offering 30meg (with sky i only get 4) along with tv and telephone for 40 a month but im not sure what to do....their website says 18month contract but on the phone the girl said its only 12month now

For some reason TopCashBack has decided to give me £40 from Sky, even though for the last 6 months it's said £0 because you're not meant to be able to combine cashback with Friends & Family discounts.

Dunno why Sky have changed their mind.

Ive left sky the tv is full of repeats (same with vm) been with both vm bill fluctuates without a clear explanation why &bad customer services

What i do now is buy sky go ticket and get my calls & bb from 02 cheaper works out about 25 quid a month saving 25quid less then both of them

Rang to cancel and got offered nothing apart from take off HD and sports and you'll save

12th jan and sky is gone!:(
