yes you have to ask they dont come to you. Phone and ask and when they see how long you have been with them they should offer something.:footie:0 -

forgive for being rude, your being well ripped off
get on that phone now, find a similar deal with Sky, or just price a deal to join sky
mention to VM your are going to Sky, if they don't offer you a deal give notice to quit, this is 30 days
during this 30 days I guarantee VM will call you back and ask why you are leaving and can I offer you this deal to stay, if they don't ring which I expect them to you can always cancel you cancellation.
yesterday I phoned VM to cancel my V+ service & my TV deal part of my package
guess who has just phoned me with a deal to keep my TV:beer::beer::beer:0 -

Thought I'd post my past experience's with both SKY and Virgin.
for a number of years I always had SKY, more importantly, "I NEVER" paid top bat for my package, used to always phone up to cancel, mostly at the end of the football season, would always get offered a incentive to stay on etc, even after turning down various offers when I phoned back to resubscribe for the footy season, even then I would get offered something, I never forget the time I phoned asking the night before a major game about a deal, no deal was offered (how dare they not offer me a deal)
anyway the following evening I had to bite the bullet and resubscribe to enable me to watch my team, now without even asking for a deal I was automatically offered 3 month's half price for coming back to sky, unbelievable, never even asked for a deal yet was given one
anyway I eventually binned off SKY and have been with Virgin for a number of years now, and yes you've guessed it
I'm on a good deal with Virgin
without going through all my details with Virgin what I will say is in the last 12 month's I have threatened to either cancel all my VM package (Feb10) yet VM called my back within a couple of days with the deal I was after in the first place (result) or yesterday I phoned VM to cancel my V+ & TV part of my package (kept my B/B & Phone part of package) yet 24 hours later VM have just phoned me back to offer me a deal to keep my V+ & TV package.
firstly I was offered extra B/B for £1 and be able to keep the V+ & TV package, turn this offer down as I'm happy with my B/B as it is
next I was offered a further discount to keep my V+ & TV part of the package
RESULT :money::money::money:0 -
called on monday, currently on 12 months 50% for sky world, paying £26 p/m with free hd mix, this ends this month, ended up with continued 50% for 6 months, no contract, still £26ish, however they would not give hd mix for free or discount, so just cancelled that part which is not worth the £10 per month charge.
will ring again in 6 months, if no discount then, will just cancel!
sky costs may be forced down down if choices/competition from eu become an option following ruling on pub landlady and greek subscription
af
Only on sport and only then if sky decide not to open subscriptions to the whole of Europe. And, from what I have read, the ruling only covers football because of the Saturday 3pm blackout which would mean you would still need a sky subscription to show stuff like boxing and motorsport.
You wouldn't want what's on half the European channels TV wise anyway. Especially Greek TV0
