Which phone number did you manage to get through on? The one I have tried - 0845 604 4991 - just has a recorded message saying they are experiencing a high volume of calls (what - all the time??) & redirecting me to contact one of the salons (surprise, surprise, they are permanently engaged or just rings out....) However, today, I was able to leave a message, although I'm not holding my breath about expecting a call back.....0 -
Hi
I too am in the same situation as most of you and have been waiting for delivery for 2 pairs of straightners from the O Spa company since 5th July 2011 and now strongly believe I have been scammed!! I purchased the groupon voucher for £15.00 and then purchased another slim set on their website for £8.95 and paid £15.00 delivery so I am currently nearly £40.00 out of pocket and have nothing to show for it!! I am so cross with this company!! I have phoned and phoned the head office who as you all probably know just say they are over welmed with calls and I should contact 1 of the 3 spas. I have never to this day ever spoke to anyone at the 3 spa's because the lines are forever engaged Im sure the phones must be off the hook!! I have emailed them asking for someone to call me and they send an automated reply that says not to contact the 3 spa's if its in relation to an online order so who the hell do you contact??? I also have trouble speaking to anyone at Groupon its a complete joke. I have just written off to Watchdog and Im going to find out what my rights our and try and get some response from someone!! We should all complain and something has to be done these people cannot be allowed to get away with this?
Has anyone actually received any straightners at all??0 -
I have just had a call from my partner who went to pick up a parcel from the DHL office. My recorded delivery letter has been sent back 'Not at This Address'. I'll be contacting Trading Standards as soon as possible!
It may be worth keeping copies of any correspondance sent (emails, letters etc). I bet the director/chief exec of O Spa London is laughing all the way to the bank!
I have just sent an email to watchdog about this, im furious and strongly belive we have all been scammed!! What trading standards do I contact? One in my local authority or one in London? I think if we all complain then surely something has to be done im currently nearlly £40 out of pocket and its something I just cant afford to shrug off!!0 -
I've just contacted Groupon customer services (0203 510 0410) & spoken to Danielle. As I had received an email from O Spa telling me that my item had been despatched back on 7 August, apparently I have to give them 28 days to deliver (although the email stated that it had been sent first class). She said that if I had not received it after this time, to recontact Groupon & that they would do a refund. She did say that O Spa are not the fastest company to send items out.....I won't hold my breath:o0

Oh no! I wish I had checked here before spending my hard earned
. I booked 6 of the treatment for a tenner vouchers with last minute. I booked once and the branch I had booked at was closed, called to re-book and have received an email (rather unimpressive as well) today to say my booking on Friday has been cancelled.
I've email last minute expressing my concern and asking for a refund, did any one else out there manage to get a refund from last minute?0 -
O spa London = waste of time.
Like most I ordered the straightners and the extra ones their website were offering.4 pairs in total, that was on the 28/06/11.
Surprise surprise, nothing recieved.
Emailed them 9 times upto now with no reply.
Emailed groupon 4 times about my disgust, no reply .
So I emailed watchdog also about this, no reply.
Iv given up now.
I also asked groupon via email was it legal for them to promote the selling of items which are not pysical stock,?, no reply.
Does anyone know what the legal situation is regarding the taking money for items which are not in physical stock?
Personally I think 1 person should see a solicitor and gather up all the names of people who have been scammed and we should take them to court together!0 -

I have also ordered the straighteners for my wife and have not had anything. I have contacted them a few times and have also copied in Trading Standards and Groupon themselves. I'm absolutely disgusted with Groupon for associating themselves with such a rubbish company. If they aren't already bust then they soon will be!! This is also my first transaction with Groupon and not a good one. Are all their deals like this??:mad:0

I to ordered the straighters on 5 July 2011, they were as part of my daughters birthday. I did get an email saying they would be send out the week commencing 15 August 2011 but guess what, nothing yet, and when you log into the account it still says awaiting. I have emailed them again twice and groupon too but no reply. Think it's maybe time that groupon stepped in and refunded everyone.0
