I booked a spa treatment for me and my mum last year through lastminute.com, initially they changed the date, and then we had to. I rescheduled my appointment in January 2011 for July 2011. I was sent an email yesterday advising me that our appointments have had to be cancelled (less then a weeks notice) and someone will be in touch to rebook. I have tried to call them but its either engaged or just rings. I would have thought out of courtesy they would have made a phone call to cancel not just send a standard emai;. I dont live in London so have now booked our train tickets :mad:.0

hmmm, today I got an email advising me that my booking had been cancelled and apologising;
[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Dear Gemma,
Due to enormous popularity of our recent online promotional campaigns which were booked several months in advance, we have been experiencing a high volume of calls and emails. This combined with the closure of our New Bond Street Spa, due to the Crossrail Network upgrade, has made it difficult to provide you with the type of O SPA London experience you would expect and we would like to deliver.
We would like to apologise for any delays you may have experienced and any disappointment incurred. Rest assured, all voucher expiry dates are now null and void to ensure that our remaining three stunning Spas can accommodate each and every client over the coming months.
You have received this email to express our genuine concern for any difficulty you may have experienced. But also to advise you that our online booking system is now open for you to schedule your appointments at a time that suits you. Your appointment at New Bond Street has been cancelled and your voucher is now valid for you to schedule your appointment on line, our website address is www.opsalondon.com.
We apologise for any delays in receiving this correspondence. We look forward to welcoming you into our Spa.
I have checked and it is letting me rebook at an alternative spa, lastminute have already given me a 'goodwill' refund of my costs for this (literally 5 days ago), so wondering whether or not it would be bad to rebook or not?
Any advice?

HI,
Has anyone purchased the recent offer for collagen face masks? I am still awaiting mine, and having sent 2 emails to the O Spa customer services email address, and 1 to Groupon I havent received anything back....
Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?
Thanks!0 -
I was booking treatment with OSPA London, and have never had any treatment. Only cancellations, this counts in years right now (yes I was trying to book first treatment in 2010, and didn't have it until now). As I have done some... research over the internet found, that OSPA just don't care, they do not answering phones, they do not answering e-mails. They just wasting your time and taking money for it.
how surprised I was, when I saw another treatments offered over groupon, this unacceptable. The whole thing stinks! Very badly and no one is doing anything about it. ...you just go deeper into something unserious.0 -
I've also bought the Groupon voucher for the collogen face masks and have got nowhere very fast. Groupon just give out the email address for O Spa who, in return, send a standard email saying that they're really busy (!!) and will reply to me. So far, I've emailed Groupon 4 or 5 times and O Spa 3 times. Groupon told me that the masks would be delivered in 28 days..something that wasn't stated when I bought them. O Spa have taken my money for delivery but haven't done anything more. I want to cancel my order but don't seem able to.
Thanks to the posters who've put Groupon's phone number on the thread...I shall be phoning them. Surely Groupon should take a certain amount of responsibility for this fiaso as they are the ones who are, effectively, promoting O Spa (and are continuing to offer O Spa products.) All they've said is that the only contact details they have are the same ones that we have....will be challenging that in my phone call.

I rang Groupon today and they couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I've got a refund for the masks and they said that they'd sort out the P&P costs. I also rang my credit card company yesterday as I paid the costs through them, and they said that they'd ensure that I was refunded so between my credit card company and Groupon, it looks as though I can put the whole O Spa saga behind me at last. Will also block OSpa's emails as they keep emailing me (despite never acknowledging my complaint....)0

My wife purchased hair straighteners for her work college and herself.
This was done via a groupon deal. The Ospa London groupon deals that they will be 28 days before they are delivered. It's now been well over 28 days. No sign of them, anyone else in the same position?:money: IT Geek & Martin Wannabee :money:0 -

I have also purchased a few items from O Spa through groupon in Jun and paid an extra £45.00 on my credit card for postage etc but nothing as yet. Had awful problems and with both Groupon & O Spa after calling/emailing many times just to find out the situation. Finally today got through to a lovely lady at Groupon who was very helpful. O Spa are opening a customer service line on 0845 604 4991 on Monday 8th to issue refunds/chase orders. They opened it on Monday this week but they couldnt cope with the calls/questions so are training their staff up - mmmmmmmmmmmm.
