OSpa London Voucher - rubbish service

As many, I bought vouchers for massages with OSpa, through Groupon, in Nov 2010. I tried many times to book by phone and online, or to contact them by email and it was impossible. I lost lots of energy doing that. So finally, I went on Regent's Street to Austin Reed to the O Spa at the reception on Monday 9th May 2011 and asked when the next appointment was available. She told me 5th November!! In 6 months! Then i asked if i could simply get refunded instead. She said yes, and it takes only 10 days.
Forget about O Spa, they are loosers.
Send an email to: customer.service@ospal.... with details of your voucher codes or even attached to the email. Put in copy Groupon: support@groupon.co.uk and ask for a refund.
3 days after only, Groupon just replied to me that O Spa accepted my request and they have refunded me and i will receive it on my bank account within 5 days.
GET REFUNDED and use your energy for something else!
And never buy anymore Spa vouchers. They offer a too poor customer service.0 -
Don't contact O Spa re your Groupon vouchers they're a waste of space.
I've just phoned Groupon and got a full refund for vouchers for O Spa totalling £199.
Took a while to get through to Groupon - about 10 mins (have tried many times before but no answer) but just asked for email address and they did the refund immediately.0 -
I'm so pleased that I came across this thread. I too have a ospa voucher for one of their highlights, cuts & Balinese massage. I thought something was up when I tried to book to have a patch test & phoned their main head office number but the mail box was full. I thought this was strange at the time. A head office phone not accepting messages, during a weekday. Then when I tried to phone them again the number for the head office head been completely removed. For me thats a sign of something shutting down. I then tried to phone one of the branches direct. It was a mobile phone number again a bit bizarre. When I eventually went into the branch I overheard that the computer system was down & that they had cancelled lots of people's appointments, people were told this once they had arrived.
I think that it is very shoddy service from management. I feel very sorry for the staff who actually work there who get the brunt of people's frustration & anger when it isnt even their fault. It must be a really crappy place to work, where every customer that works in the door is !!!!!! off because someone higher up has c@cked up.
The spa I visited was very stylish with all its original features. Its just a shame that ospa have transformed it into a supermarket.
After reading this thread Im not holding much hope for my appointment to be honored.
I was shocked at the post earlier that they havent even paid their staff for weeks. Thats disgusting!0 -
lastminute.com will only issue me a poxy E voucher! Have spent 30 minute on the phone saying I want a refund to my credit card but they wont budge say they are only a 3rd party.0

Groupon told me (when giving me my refund) that all O Spa locations have temporarily closed until further notice and don't know when they will be re-opening. Mysteriously, my previous post on this topic was deleted, but I have no idea why............0

If you have a GroupOn voucher for O-spa which you have not been able to use, phone GroupOn customer services and ask for a refund. The number is 020 3510 0410. They were very helpful and apologetic and said they are aware of the problems and would give me a refund. I was ready for a long argument but the call was quick and easy. Call today!!:j0

I've also had issues with OSpa with a Groupon voucher I purchased in February and 5 months I was still waiting for them to honour it, I've had appointments rescheduled over 5 times!
Upon reading this thread I've just contacted Groupon and they said that they would refund my voucher within 3 to 5 days - it was so simple! Thanks all for your advice0 -
I also booked 2 vouchers for O Spa via Groupon and experienced exactly the same as many people above, unable to book an appointment.
Groupon have been so helpful and friendly and agreed to refund the money. They also offered this explanation... "Unfortunately O Spa have temporarily closed down all branches until further notice and will not be able to redeem any Groupons until further notice. If you wish to keep to voucher you may have to wait until after August for an appointment." All very mysterious!0 -
I've been trying to get my appointment with O Spa sorted for many months, too... Twice, I've turned up for appointments to be told that they've run out of the necessary product. The earlier posts make me think that perhaps they've run out of money to buy the product? They're owned by a big, rich company. What's going on???? And why hasn't Watchdog covered the story yet? An earlier post suggested that they are using the 'selling' of special deals as a free loan system. That's pretty seriously WRONG behaviour.0
