• I have reported Groupon and O Spa to ActionFraud, Consumer Direct and Advertising Standards Authority.

Sent this email to Ospa

On 5th July 2011, I ordered 2 sets of Hair Straighters including 2 postage charges of £7.50, total amount of £23.95. I have not yet received the goods, I have been waiting for nearly 2 months. I have emailed O Spa over 10 times regarding the process of my order with no response.

As O Spa have failed to perform the contract within 30 days, you are now in breach of contract.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 I am entitled a seven-day cooling off period, starting from the day the goods have been delivered. I am therefore writing to cancel the order and request that you provide a full refund within 14 days.

Called Groupon - spoke to Zoe, apparently getting refund for £15 and would receive refund in next 7 days, she was going to email conformation of this - suprise surprise no email!!

• I too ordered the hair straighteners on 6 July and never received them. Emailed OSpa and Groupon several times but no reply...

However, I have just spoken to Groupon customer services who said they will refund my £15 voucher immediately, they also took my OSpa order number (this is the one you get when you log into the OSpa website) and said they will get them to refund the postage within seven days (OSpa are legally obliged to do this – but I'm not holding my breath!).

Anyone in the same boat, do phone Groupon because if you can actually get to speak to a human being there, they are quite helpful - but be prepared to hold for 15 mins!
• Got refund from Groupon! Just refund from Ospa to go, apparently groupon have someone who is dealing with getting the cancelled vouchers money back from OSpa.

Groupon phone no: 020 35100410 , thank good I get free landline calls, was on hold for 15 mins.

I dont know why I bothered - nothing wrong with my strighteners that I have.:(
• I also purchased straighteners for £15 and paid £7.50 delivery, i tried contacting ospa and also groupon on many occasions but no reply. i ended up putting a post up on groupons facebook asking if anybody had actually received any of their orders, with a few replys of no its a scam, groupon replied by asking me for ticket numbers to emails i sent and told me customer services would be in contact soon. They did email me saying they would forward my order no to ospa and to hurry up my order, they told me that it definately wasn't a scam. I'm still no further forward and hve contacted watchdog but hvnt had a reply. if it is not a scam then why can nobody tell me when the straighteners will be despatched. I am very angry and really just want the straighteners but know I will never recieve them and will hve to ask for a refund.
• Same situation here, bought the £15 voucher from Groupon, plus £7.50 delivery - and have nothing to show for it.

I'm really glad I came across this thread today, because I spoke to Groupon Customer Service just about 30 mins ago and their customer advisor said that the straighteners were going to be delivered, but if I wanted to speak to OSPA customer services, they now have a phone number I could call. Having read all I had just found out here, I said to the lady that I was not interested in the goods anymore, I just wanted a refund of the voucher and P&P fee. She said it would take a few days to get that refund order processed, so I'll give them 5 working days. Let's see if they'll be as useless as OSPA Customer Services. If they are, I'll definitelly be posting this on their Facebook page on a daily basis until something is done. Same if I ever see them advertising any deals with those crooks.

What exactly is this telephone number of O Spa Customer Services? . I've only just remembered that I placed a groupon order with O Spa London, I can't believe I completely forgot about it! I'm now fuming... I paid an additional £8.95 + £15.00 delivery for hair straighteners wide and hair straighteners narrow. This is ridiculous, how could I have forgotten about this order... Oh well, just e-mailed Groupon now, hope they help! Anyone else with any luck, or anyone else too order the hair straighteners narrow too?
• Bought a voucher from GroupOn for £22 for a foot massager on 31st July 2011 and placed the order at OSpa website on 4th August 2011 (fruther £9.95 delivery charged) with promise of a 28 day deliver, that was 32 days ago.

Order status still says "awaiting".
2 emails to OSpa Customer services with no reply
Tried to call OSpa customer services - told to ring contact a store - all of which tell you the online ordering is nothing to do with them.
Send an email to GroupOn asking for a refund
Tried to ring GroupOn and told they're busy and to call back later.

My first (and probably last) purchase of a voucher through GroupOn. THOROUGHLY disappointed.

AND TODAY OSpa have the cheek to spam me with some garbage email about booking a spa break with them! grr
• Ive finally got my refund from both Groupon and O Spa London after numerous emails/letters/phone calls etc. I too received an email about a spa break with O Spa London. They got a nice email back...!
• "SHOCKING OSPALONDON !!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I purchased a Groupon Voucher and placed my order on 6th July for Hair Straighteners, I also bought an extra set which they offered on their website. OSpa charged me £15 p&p which should have taken up to 14 days for delivery. It is now 9 weeks and still NOT received goods, even though they have been showing in stock on their website and can still be ordered.

I have contacted them several times to which i have received no reply only automated emails. Groupon sent me a number for Ospa but is constantly engaged. I just wish i had read the reviews on Ospalondon review center and Trip adviser before i purchased.
Beware Hair straighteners are not the only problem it seems Ospa have had a field day in ripping off 100's and 100's of customers.
