Earth Mobile Ceased Trading can anyone help

Would calling the police be a good idea? Clearly he is still trading on eBay and I suspect that many of the phones he has or will sell were received after he filed for insolvency/liquidation/administration.

Before a lynching party is formed for Dennis, is it not just possible that Earth Mobile have just hired space from his storage company - a bit like you would do with the Big Yellow Box company -( hint:- his company is called Space 4U Self Storage Ltd ) combined with a goods received service and poor old Dennis is waiting for his payment for rent outstanding as well?

Just a thought.

anyone got anywhere with this scumbag? i've also been ripped off....after speaking to them last week being promised a cheque as the liars have had my phone since June!! phoned today to get the gone bust message. basically this bloke is a con man - anyone got any sensible advice about how we go about getting our phones/money? or have we just been ripped off and that's it?

If everyone adds their story about Earthmobile to BBC Watchdog and the fact that Russell Tilbury is still trading in UK mobile phones and selling them abroad on eBay we might at least get the message out there:

Be sure to add Earthmobile as close to the start of the description as possible so the researchers can see how many people have been ripped off.

I doubt that Dennis is in anyway connected to Earth Mobile at all and it's rather unfair for him to be tagged to it.

Theres lots of Companies large and small that use mail boxes and storage units in fact we've had to use storage units on occasions when we've run out of space so it's quite handy to have companies using services like Dennis's

As GD points out theres a good chance that Dennis is going to be a victim in this too

Thing is can recorded / special delivery post be sent to a mailbox / storage facility? I know it's not allowed to po boxes (which form the same basis of a rented postal address)

Dennis accepting the parcels makes him either or both a willing / un willing associate to the fraud?

I'm not instigating a lynch mob, just like all of us wanting answers. And maybe Dennis knows?

I too have been scuppered by this awful company, again only £20 but that is not the point, i have phoned storage king this morning who have been in contact with the earthmobile people as they do rent space from them and 'apparently' there will be some form of communication available in the next few days although i still expect theres a snowballs chance in hell of much being done, all i want is the bloody phone back!

Quite right, Spike ! And the Post Office are in on it too, as well as the electricity company that supplies the power, BT and the Council who Earth Mobile pay/owe council tax.

Your post on Dennis' background from Linkedin in post#37 was unnecessary and pointless. He runs a storage company that rents space to Earth Mobile and you are implying by that post that he has something to do with the running of Earth Mobile without the slightest shred of evidence.

Hitting out randomly at a 3rd party who happens to have legitimately rented them some space is way off beam.
