Earth Mobile Ceased Trading can anyone help
Comments

I have just come off the phone from trading standards. They were helpful and advised me to contact the Insolvency Service, they said as of yet they have not confirmed as being insolvant but this process can take up to 3 weeks. They said that I should contact Trading Standards with regard to getting my phone back!
I contacted Trading Standards again and they have said that I should keep my hopes low of getting my money or the phone back as they will more than likely have sold the phone already.
If I put a claim in once they are registered on Companys House website as insolvent the likelihood of me getting money back is very low as there will be many many people owed money!
How can consumers be stung like this?!!!!0 -

Trading standards have advised we write them a letter - I have the address if anybody needs it - explaining that they owe me £20 & if I don't get it I will take it further with trading standards. Not expecting a reply, but best to go through the right channels.
I doubt you would get a reply tooIt's not just about the money0 -

I would like the address please.
Thank you0 -
This site was actually recommended by a recycling mobile comparison site. Wasn't just a random.0

If you haven't/will not be paid for your mobile phone can't you report the phone as being missing/stolen and get it blocked? Though this won't help you to get your money back...0

Am I missing something here......
If Earth Mobile have your phones (you did keep a copy of the IEMI number!) and they go into administration then you should simply ask for your mobiles back.
As you haven't received payment for them, Earth Mobiles don't legally own the phones. As you phone is uniquely identifiable (i.e. not cash which can be co-mingled) then you should eventually get your phones back.
isn't that the case?0 -
There seems to be quite a few companies trading from the same address so my guess it's a mail box type set up ????
I doubt you would get a reply too

Not sure if this will help but a Google search of Earthmobile Ltd threw up their previous address which looks like a residential house on GoogleMaps:
19 Haslemere Road
WINDSOR
SL4 5ET
Tel: 01753 622282 (recorded message giving the last address)
The person who signed for the parcel wrote Dennis but no surname - definitely suspicious.
They stung me for £170 and accepted the parcel AFTER they had ceased trading!
Surely this is outright theft?0 -
Ok to save people time the owner of Earth Mobiles is
Russell Tilbury
The webites registered from his accountants
Cranleys
31 Goose Gree
Hook
hants
RG27 9QY
An alternative trading address is
19 Haslemere Road,
WINDSOR,
SL4 5ET
This may or may not be current and perhaps a residential addressIt's not just about the money0
