Currently 72 phones returned. The easier ones with names and addresses on the packaging have all been sent through, it is onto the more difficult stock now.

i also emailed trading standards, and got a very prompt and helpful reply:
Dear Mr xxxxxx ,
Thank you for your e-mail.
I can confirm that Earth Mobile is now returning all phones sent to them.
I will forward your phone details to them.
Yours sincerely,

so fingers crossed i'll get my phone back, cause they've had it since June!! Thumbs up to trading standards so far!!0 -
Hi guys, had an email this morning from Russell Tilbury asking for my postal address for them to return both of my mobiles. :money:
Hopefully everyone else will be having the same email shortly along with the return of their mobile phones.
Now one question remains.
Which mobile phone recycling company should I send my 2 phones to next? :eek:0 -
Ive been reading this thread for some time now and have just registered my details with consumer direct since ive never received payment for my iphone 3g. Does this mean that there is a possibility that i'll now get my phone back or do i need to do anything else?0

Its seems like out of all this mess everyone is finally getting good results.
I have had a response from trading standards & I guess now all I can do is sit & wait.
I really hope I get the phone back as I sent it off when I was 6 months pregnant as a bit of extra cash to help me out. I am now due to have my baby next week so a good outcome with some cash back up my sleeve would be amazing.
Hope everyone has a good outcome from this mess x

Are they sending them via Special Delivery? My address was on the package I sent -- haven't received anything yet. Wouldn't surprise me if they sold it.0 -

Thanks again0 -
Amazing how after the initial anger has subsided and people start to calm down that suddenly Earth mobile is not such a bad apple after all.
People were so quick to jump to arms and raise a lynching party, I don't see them jumping to apologise now.0 -
Those who have their phones back (or have been told they are to be sent back),
when did you send them to Earthmobile, much before the cessation date?
Mine was weeks before and I cant find the IMEI, so I don't hold out much hope.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
