Earth Mobile Ceased Trading can anyone help

You’ll never guess what I got through the post today?
After sending my Iphone 3g off to Earth Mobile a week before it ceased trading, I honestly didn’t think I see it again. I put it down to an expensive experience (£151) but was monitoring Companies House so i could make a claim if Earth Mobile were to register for bankruptcy.
Low and behold I received a parcel recorded delivery from Earth Mobile today with my phone enclosed. Result!
I hope every gets their phones back and then (if not put off by the whole experience) uses a more stable/reputable phone money back company.

Sorry, that wasn't aimed at you. What I meant was that I haven't heard anything from Russell (someone mentioned getting an e-mail). I was just pointing out that there wasn't anymore information regarding my case that's all
You are doing a fine job, thank you.0 -
Hello all.
I would just like to thank Roy for the great job he is doing ...fingers crossed we might get some of our phones back ..

I just got home today to find a special delivery parcel with my name on it (dad collected from post office).
Open it up and guess what.............. I GOT MY PHONE BACK!!!!
My iPhone 3G 8GB has been returned to me. Thankyou Earthmobile for doing the decent thing.
Now to send it off to o2 recycle for £131. WOOHOO!!!0 -
The reviews I've read on o2 recycle aren't that great either. And to be honest, all of these companies have strange terms and conditions. Carphone Warehouse do trade-ins, I've noticed on their website that it mentions you can trade in store also (not sure if that's true, but worth looking into perhaps).
Personally, I'm considering using ebay to get rid of my phones from now on.0 -
I just sold one of my phones and an iPod touch at Cex store... I'd recommend them. If I ever get my Nokia E71 back I'll sell that to Cex for sure.0

Hope others will get their mobiles back as well.0 -
Macca1983 - When did you send your phone to them originally?
(Same question goes to Sloan85)
I only ask as mine was sent some time before they went bump (June), and I was not holding out much hope of them still having it (add to that I did not keep the IMEI number).I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700

I sent mine early August just before they went bust. Got an email last week asking for my address, they located mine with the reference number that was on top of the package.0
