Supply probably would not meet demand even if these ebayers weren't screwing the system. Don't however, proclaim that someone will get them who otherwise wouldn't cos that's rubbish as the ebayer pre-order would have been taken by another person who ACTAULLY WANTED THE CONSOLE. The system is being made worse by ebayers, you know it and I know it, whether your one of those screwing the populus of course is another matter.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

This attitude just seems a little harsh and very quick to judge.

    I ain't called DASTARDLY for nothing !!
Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items. :D

So in my eyes, anybody buying things to sell on Ebay, I salute you!
(and I have a wii on pre order and it's going on Ebay)

For all the moaners out there, what can I say? Get over it. It happens. It has happened since Ebay has been around and I guess it will always happen.

Everybody is a member of this forum to either save, make or spend money. No matter which way you look at it, we are all doing the same thing!!

    Pete

Some of us are here to save, make and spend money as well as delight our children for Christmas. I'm lucky , I 've got a Wii on preorder.

I'm glad I'm not going to have to see my son with a disappointed face on Christmas day whilst some grown-up is rubbing his hands with glee and counting his profits.

Someone already said that if people wanted to get one and looked hard enough in advance they could get one. These have been on pre-order at HMV since October or earlier and those who have kids who would blatently want one and would be getting one should have pre-ordered for £30. No big loss for them.

Howver, some people wont pre-plan and leave shopping the the last minute then think "oh no - its sold out everywhere" then need to pay over the odds.

HMV and most stores allow 1 per person so cant say that someone is buying all the stock for themseleves.

Those paying 350 now on ebay are just plain stupid - or cant be bothered to look or never leave the house.

Some people cant afford to buy one so buy 2 on credit and use ebay to sell one to pay for the other. Its their right to do that if others are being too lazy to pre buy.

Tickets are a different matter as 1 person can buy loads at once.

Rant over. Roll on the wii - I cant wait!

Some kids don't write their Christmas lists in October thank goodness

Im here to save as well. I want one - preordered 2 from seperateplaces to make sure I get 1. If I get 2 I will sell one to pay for the other hence saving some if not all the money.

That may be the case... but chances are any kid would want the latest console for Christmas. If the parents can afford it that is. Pre-ordering doesnt lose you much - if anything - with most places.Worst caseyou returnit and get refund or sell on ebay if your kid doesnt want it :)
