My Asda man said start ringing up everyday from wednesday. But he said that each store only got around 20 on the release day.winnersdontusedrug wrote:i know these crazy prices. whats it gonna be when the ps3 comes out,i got a wii launch day i did not even open it i put it on ebay, i know its wrong but making a quick pound with xmas coming round, makes up for farpak, merry xmas hope they get some stock for you all soon
The PS3'll probably go for £800-£1000 I reckon, but 75% of all statistics are made up on the spot.Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast0 -
I ordered a WII about a week and a half ago and received it today they tried to deliver it on Friday but I was at work
So really pleased0 -
Who from? Better not be HMV. Cos sometimes I think that they don't send it to the people who have used discount codes, cos they think we are scum and put us to the bottom of the list!BLUMIRE wrote:I ordered a WII about a week and a half ago and received it today they tried to deliver it on Friday but I was at work

YES I am making a profit so what. Any normal human being would not sell a Nintendo Wii for what they paid for it. I put it on ebay starting at .99 pence and if it goes for .99 pence so be it.
so i'm not normal then? good to know.
sorry but my conscience wouldn't allow me to do rip someone off as blatently as that  karma will come back to bite you on the bum :cool:0 -

Personally I fail to see how anybody is being ripped off .. If the person that is bidding on Ebay is prepared to go to a certain price to get their item (this does not just apply to the Wii) then so be it. Nobody is forcing them to bid.0 -

Depends on how you view it. True you're not literally forcing them to bid on your item, but people buying them up just to sell them means people who want them for as presents or for themselves have to resort to using places like eBay and Retrowarez to get one as the shops are all out.
If all the people who didn't really want one for themselves didn't get one, there might have been enough to go round for the people who did.
Anyway i don't want to derail by debating the morals of doing this kind of thing, if people are happy with themselves by doing this then fine, I just wouldn't be. I believe in karma, what goes around comes around.
Anyway getting back on track, HMV are accepting pre-orders for some of the remotes and cables for the 15-12-06 and you can leave your details here and they'll let you know when they are expecting more stock.0 -
Out of interest, did anyone pre-order from dvd.co.uk and receive anything?0

If he sells all 9 for £300 making £1000 profit I wonder how long it'll be before the inland revenue start taking an interest and looking for their £220, if they did it wouldn't be hard to follow the money trail as ebay logs every sale made.0
