Apparently, PPI Settlements get their 'data' (i.e. mobile phone numbers to call) from Data Locator Group. Interestingly, Data Locator Group is also in the Claims Management Industry, also having a licence issued by the Ministry of Justice.

To be honest I don't give a stuff about anyone working in a call centre flogging PPI and so on.
Why should I care one jot about a stranger who phones people knowing full well that they are annoying them?
As the saying goes, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I read a review on Amazon which suggested this, on one of these call blockers.

Suggesting that you buy the device, set it up and then the company artificially increase the number of calls you get, so your blocked call list is full and you think it's money well spent.
