Hi all,
Not even sure if this is the right place to post this but after months of reading and saying I am going to start budgeting and saving, I have decided now is the time. No more putting it off. I am a bit scared though, you all seem so nice and supportive of each other and I really dont no where to start. Have looked at the Webiste, printed my shopping lists etc and am heading to supermarket tonight. So hope to be able to keep to this as I must spend £200 a week on shopping, (which is two months worth if I follow the website, not sure how you all do it but I am going to try) for a family of 4 and one granny and the worst thing is there is never anything to eat in the house according to my two sons, (20 & 23).0 -

Hi Silver!!!
Nice to see a new face:j:j Most of us have tried most of the recipes so if you get stuck just post on here for advice!!! Some people are very good cooks i.e weezl, allegra and sian and some of us are slightly more basic (thats probably just me:)) so lots of people to answer questions whatever it is.
Which month are you planning on doing? Or a mixture of both?
Please keep posting and letting us know how you are getting on:)

I can confirm the onion tart makes a lovely lunch cold, I had some individual portion pots of ketchup lurking in the fridge so it was fine.
I even got a thumbs up from onion disliking DH
I'm making a double batch of the Pasta Amatriciana sauce, 1/2 for now 1/2 to freeze. 3 years old are very handy for squishing up tins of tomatoes, kept her quiet for ages.
DH and DD will be assisting in the creation of the Calzone dough tonight for tomorrow.
I'll try and do pictures of the calzone,
ETA: Hello Silver, option 1 here as I think DH would rebel if I didn't serve him meat at somepoint in the week.Proud to be dealing with my debts
