We are also doing another batch of forgasse and hm garlic bread, im slowly getting into the swing of bread making. However we have to leave ours to prove for about two hours-anyone know how to reduce this time?
Leave it in a warmer place. Although it doesn't matter if it takes longer as long as you know and are able to allow enough time for it.

    Thanks Susan :)

We have been putting it on top of Mr arty's computer as that is the warmest place in the flat, but maybe I'll put it near the oven or something.

arty - excellent bread trick (if you have room). Put a couple tablespoons of water into a Pyrex jug and boil the water in the microwave (takes 30sec-1min). Then put your bread dough in a cloth-covered bowl inside the microwave, close the door and let prove. The humidity and warmth from the water is perfect for yeast. I rise my dough this way but obviously you have to do it in 1 big bowl before you divide into loaves.

Also, weezl - you didn't answer my lentil pate question. Am I crazy? Or maybe it was taken off the planner? :(:(

hi all, comments duly noted and I have offered a second method for kittys who like more sauce and fewer pans :)

Jenny your thoughts on how I've worded method 2 would be welcome!

Method 2, Think you just need to say, fry mushrooms and onions, leave out - as above.

Haven't said when to add chilli, salt and pepper.

    Otherwise looks ok
