[FONT=&quot]hi, can I just check, are these the nutrition data that people thought would be useful on each recipe? I'm drafting the spec now so will need to know any omissions :)

Am I right in thinking that officially it is Kilocalories or kcal, just in case you get a real stickler on units?

Calories with a capital "C" is kcal.

I'd probably put it as "... protein 18g, fat 13g, sat fat 1g..." just to make it a bit clearer for reading.

I'd also like to know which meal the above refers to - 67mg iron in 678 Calories is impressive.

Is it too early to start drinking yet ? Probably is.... Oh well.

On the upside, my batch cooking today is finally complete, despite all the interruptions and various spanners in the works. I now have:

    4 loaves of bread
doughnuts (there were 16, but now there are, um, fewer than that)
    seed spread
    walnut butter
    Houmus
    Tomato houmus
    red pepper houmus
    onion houmus
    tangy bean pate
    olive tapenade
    lemon cordial

On the downside, I still have no usable dining room or table - the tiler is coming back to grout the conservatory (which also happens to be our dining room) at 8 tonight, which means we can not reassemble the dining table tonight at all :(

Right that is the pasta made ready to go into oven. I thought before i put the liquid in there wouldnt be enough sauce but there is plenty. I did need a bit more water though as it was too thick without. It is a huge dish of food and i think there may be leftovers but will report later

ok pasta went down well by both. After baking for me i could have done with a little more sauce but thats just a personal thing. Ex thought it was fine and would happily have it again

Hi all, just checking in to say I'm about to get the pasta on the go. Still have no Internet, just moved on Saturday and should be back online on Friday, so on my iPhone again which is not ideal! I can't even thank people for their posts. Planning to have Panzanella tomorrow, shepherdless pie on Wed, then tomato and olive pudding on Thurs! Will have lots of pics to show at the weekend :j I would have joined for the skype chat, but it's more bother than it's worth on this phone! Look forward to hearing how everyone gets on this week :)
