First add the garlic and mustard powders to the stock, then add the onions and stock to a saucepan. Now add the second teaspoon of oil, then, using a wooden spoon, stir in the plain flour. Stir all this together over a medium heat and then switch to a whisk, then gradually add the stock to the pan, whisking all the time, until it's all in.
weezl please help! planning to make this for dinner tonight but slightly confused! in the ingredients you stated self raising flour for the gravy then in the method you've said using plain. also, the method above is quite confusing...'add onions and stock to saucepan...then gradually add the stock to the pan..' i thought i'd already done this?!! do you mean add the onions and stock to the bowl, then add to the saucepan? help, OH is home soon and expecting din dins!2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0 -
