Yesterday was a crazy day, my boss gave birth around 9p.m last night to a healthy boy, James Percy is a cutie cutie:). Can't wait to see him this morning, I'm going to be with her eldest son all day who is the love of my life, he wrapped me around his finger around 2 years ago when he was only 6 months old:).

    Ok need to do today:

    -renew NUS card
    -buy lottery
    -gym
-check that kitchen is going in flat tmrw
    -check bank account
    -buy train tickets to Brighton
    -cancel meeting with friends

Not very long but Iwon't have much time anyhow. I'm just so glad it's Friday!

You are so super organised! Sounds like you will have a nice year of breaks away next year. I like having something to look forward to, helps me get through the boring weeks :rotfl:.

Sounds like yesterday was very exciting with the new arrival! Lots of people around me seem to be having babies at the moment but they aren't close friends so I don't get any snuggles, that's probably a good thing actually as I don't want to get broody :D

Oh, I'm very very broody:). And OH as well but we need to concentrate on the debts before trying for a baby. Maybe end of next year?

Ok, today hasn't got down well, never mind. I can't do many things as I have no internet access all day. I might have a babysitting, might not, we shall see. Would be good to have one but not looking forward staying up late.

Babysitting tonight, shouldn't be too long, they are back by 11. Hopefully. Going to Brighton tmrw, let's hope it's the last time this year, I don't enjoy seaside when it's cold but OH do ;).

I saw a beautiful dress today in Debenhams but resisted it, I didn't buy it :). Oh dear, it was hard to control myself. Just checked my Lloyds account, I really need to put money towards the debt but want to wait till the rent money leaves my account than shall see what is left behind. I might do it on the phone, it's a hassle for me to go to the bank which is at least 30min walk away from work.

Right, back watching Eclipse, the ultimate friday treat:).

Just did the weekly shopping, it was shocking, £50 without the top-up shop on Wednesday :(. Really really need to sort this out:(. Open University book arrived, so will have a little peak this afternoon.

I woke up at 3 a.m. this morning with a really bad shoulder and neck pain, apparently my OH was lying on me once again. He just doesn't realize that he's doing that during the night, hugging me from behind but putting his weight on my back and shoulder. I went to sleep in the sitting room hoping that it will disappear by morning but I have to say, it's getting worst and worst. The pain is between my shoulder blades and my neck, hard to move my head and hard to get up from sitting position. I made a mistake by cycling to work, it was so dangerous, I couldn't look either way-I think I leave bike here and just take the bus back home,no point for me risking my life.

Our kitchen arrived but with troubles at the weekend. The worktop is completely different from what we ordered and the guy who fixed it messed up the handles meaning that the last cupboard needs to have a new door and new handle. I am going to discount this from his wage as he admitted that he messed it up, I was really furious over the weekend but calmed down now. Also the fan is faulty so that has to be taken back to the shop, hopefully electritian and plumber are in today to connect everything so tenants can start cooking and using the kitchen.

    This week's to do list:
    • transfer money to furniture guy
    • get little brother to give me rest of the money and write a list of expenses
    • overpay loan
    • return library books
    • buy present to nephew and post it off (URGENT!!)
    • start listing on ebay
    • pick up parcel from post office
    • start and finish will
    • move money on foreign bank account
    • do the sums for rental tax
    • return bag to debenhams and get the same one on sale?
    • buy present for boss' baby
    • return la redoute
    • print out pictures and send them to auntie

Oh, the list is for the week but I have other lists for each day as well:). It's going to be a busy week but that's good, we won't be doing much over the weekend anyway, so can relax:).

    Hi Hun,

Sorry I haven't been on in a while, I think you are very sensible in waiting TTC while you sort the loan and savings out, it's a very noble thing indeed in my opinion :). I read so many posts on MSE where people are told they should start trying sooner rather than later because your fertility decreases so rapidly yada yada............ well, if we do decide to ever have children then I can't see it being for around 5/6 years which will put me at 33/34, LOTS of people now have no choice but to wait and I think there is an awful lot of scaremongering going on ;)

Sounds like the kitchen has been a nightmare, I can't say I missed all the hassle of redecorating/buying furniture etc! It's sweet that your OH hugs you during the night, but the pain doesn't sound good at all, I think he should give you another massage tonight!
