Oh, dear, not sure what to make of it but here we go:

We went to Hungary last weekend and decided to concentrate on our investment mortgage. It's £38000 which is a lot, lot, it might be even more if the currency is going down. The point is that the mortgage in Hungary is in swiss Frank and the government gave away a lifeline that we could settle the loan by the end of this year if we pay it off on a 180Ft/CHF. So this means that we have exactly 13.000.000Ft to pay off which is on today's currency is £38000.

We have £4000 in savings, plus another £1500 coming in next week from OH's salary. We managed to get £15k from Lloyds and most likely £15k from Sainsburys next week. So short of £2500.

We know we can manage the loans here, in the UK with our salaries, also rent in Hungary would give us an additional £600 to help to pay off the loans (current repayment amount is £620 a month for 2 loans so the Hungarian rent would pay that, everything extra we earn would be early repayment. I will calculate how long it will take us to pay it though I will wait until Sainsburys gives me the money. I am happy from one side as this would mean that we would not have investment property mortgage abroad and once paid back, we would have extra £600 every month-no stress if I go on mat leave.

So this week's to do list:
    • [STRIKE]
    • sort out Lloyds loan
    • sort out Sainsburys loan
    • sort out overdraft
    • pay dad, mum
    • post ink to Tesco
    • cancel fitness first dd
    • pay Ikea to lb
    • call Frank
    • recalculate LB's money: he now owns £155
    • print out cinema tickets
    • send card to Bella
    • put table together
    • move money on escape
    • leave ebay feedback
    • wash clothes
    • ask for library books
    • book delivery company for Xmas
    • [/STRIKE]move money on Barclays
    • move money from saving acc
    • move money from OH's acc
    • download pict
    • print pict for aunty and post them
    • book airmiles
    • order dermalogica using vouchers
    • book massage
    • send Karo a card

Friday morning and feel motivated. Shame I don't have much to sort out today apart from going to the bank and put a cheque in. Finances are looking good at the moment though still thinking what to do with Hungarian mortgage.

OH bought a bike, not surprisingly it goes back to the shop on Sat. Sigh...

    Oh gosh, what a day.

We have been to the hospital this morning, OH needs to have another operation so now waiting for appointment. He has already had the pre assessment and just hoping that he will get it sorted by the end of this year, 2011 has been pretty bad for him so he deserves to start 2012 more positively.

Money wise, we are so far on track with investment mortgage, I think we will come out better than I originally thought as long as the currency there holds itself until tmrw afternoon. Nothing I can do, it doesn't depend on me but keeping my fingers cross.

I have plenty to do this week, sigh, not sure how I will manage everything...Now back to work...

    Update on things:

So we have decided, well mostly I decided, to concentrate on investment house mortgage. As we are mortgage free on family house, this would help us significantly in future.
The mortgage itself is £30k exactly, monthly repayment is £610 for 5 years. Rent from renting out the flat is about £600 too but we will not use this money every month, more likely we just save it up for 5 months than turn it into the loan. The reason for this is to avoid charges to exchange currency and send it to the UK.

So the plan is to put all money what we earn towards the mortgage. I think we are aiming to put £2k towards it every month plus every extra we earn. It would be a dream to pay it off within a year but I won't beat myself up if it will take longer. The quicker the better though. So Kavics is doing it again to be come debt free completely...

We are off on Holiday tmrw, Lanzarote this time. Not looking forward to it though everything is paid. OH is grumpy bec of the operation coming up, no app just yet.

Back from Holiday, it was good but it's good to be back. I kind of missed work and reality, it's always a dream when you go away to a sunny country but coming back makes you really appreciate it.

So, this week is payday. Won't be able to overpay loan just yet as we have a huge credit card bill going out and also the monthly repayment for the mortgage too. I'm not expecting any uncounted bills either, I think december will be a good month as OH is getting tax refunds (around £200) plus I have 4 babysitting booked. Xmas shopping's done, just need to get wrapping papers.

OH is trully depressed, he doesn't believe that the operation will help him and it's not good that he doesn't have a date for the op yet. Just hoping it will pass as I'm desperate for him to be in a better mood and not to suffer.
Plenty to do this week but will start sorting it out tmrw, I have no energy today whatsoever.

First payment towards the mortgage went out, £310.16, the other half will go on the 14th. This month is tight, we had a huge credit card bill (£1500), that includes a couple of flight tickets for visiting family next year and also the accomodation for Lanzarote. December Credit card bill will be similar as we had OH's bike going out plus flight tickets to Portugal. Ahhh, it will never end, will it? You would think finally we can relax but back to square 1 because of the new project.

I am proxy parenting this weekend, hence being awake so early, waiting for the kiddo to wake up and hopefully we can tackle Winter Wonderland:). Hard day:). It will give me appr. £250 extra, plus got £54 for Thurs night babysitting. I won't see this money till the end of the month though as that's when it will hit my bank account.

One of my bosses said I would get Xmas bonus again this year depending on the other boss so fingers cross it will happen, would appreciate it so much! I don't think they will match last year's bonus though...

Xmas shopping nearly finished, all presents bought except my brother's. Not sure really what to get him, he is moving into a new house just before Xmas and I already said I would give him duvet cover, lamps, etc, whatever we have extra and don't use. I have a dvd box set for him which I got 6 months ago on Amazon but now not sure whether he would like it or not.

Otherwise all good, OH will come and join me today, he is not feeling better but I think he doesn't stress himself as much.

Always something happening, little brother got hit by a car. He dislocated his elbow and has plenty of bruises. Feel so tired today, spent the evening with him at the hospital. He is all good now but need plenty of rest.

Finances are coming along this week hopefully, expecting some money in, will update it once it hits my bank account.

Money in and it is looking better than expected. I still have 3 payments going out but even with those I will be in credit so feeling satisfied. This month is a good one with plenty of overtime so hopefully I can make a healthy overpayment at the end of it. Not sure of the amount just yet, I need to see my spreadsheet.

I ordered the last Xmas present for my brother, settled on a cookery book as he will be living on his own as of the 21st Dec. I have sorted everyone, thankfully. I have also sold one present, i ordered too much so that's £8 back in the pocket. Hopefully ebay items will sell as well, just need to do some more listing this weekend.

I think it's not a secret anymore but we have been trying to concieve since April this year. I got pregnant in September and miscarried at 5 weeks 4 days in October. I was hoping that this month I will be pregnant again but it's not happening, I feel I will have my period very soon. I feel sad, I think this is the worst, just waiting for it to happen:(. This is the reason mainly we want to repay our investment flat mortgage as when I go on maternity, we would still have additional income plus at the moment I still have two employers so will be getting two sets of MP.
