I'm interested in the game maker as well, sounds reall, er, interesting!!!
That's some big overpayments you have made recently, it only seems like yesterday that you had taken the loan out! Being debt free this year would be amazing . I share your lack of motivation, I wrote an A4 list of things to do at work and I've only crossed 2/3 things off

Ahh, I can't make overpayment till next Mon, there is a problem with Tesco's system. Not happy. But than I will be able to pay more to it as my salary will be on my account hopefully.
This month is really crap, we couldn't put as much towards the loan because of OH's sister and niece visiting. I'm really fed up with them as they use up everything and all your moneysaving goes nowhere. I bought a bottle of soap the day before yest and now half of it's gone, it lasts us usually a month! Never mind, bit of a rant really as they seem to waste everything (like they want me to buy bread than I throw it away 3 days later because they haven't even touched it, we do not throw food out, if we don't eat it we don't buy it!). They are due to leave tmrw but now strike is on at stanstead so who knows...
All good otherwise, feeling very tired most of the time.
Jody, I don't think you can apply to be a game maker anymore, there was an application window open previously and I think if you missed your chance than there is no more.
Missy, thanks for coming by, I really really want to be debt free ASAP!0 -
I got 85% on my assignment, very very happy with that one. Let's just hope that the next 2 will be the same!
Oh's sis and niece leaving today, hurray:). I have babysitting tonight but will enjoy tmrw morning the peace and quiet in the house. Moneywise nothing to say, I still don't have my salary in bank account, hoping for the best that tmrw it will be there.0 -
yaaay for your OHs niece and sis leaving, what a pain having them stay for so long and eating you out of house and home. rubbish that you're babysitting so that you can't spend that quiet tiime with OH but every little helps as they say. Thanks for the advice on my diary earlier hun, was very much appreciated x0

Feeling rather tired today, didn't go to bed till 1 ish due to longish babysitting and had to get up at 6. But at least I got £50 in my pocket which is really nice. OH did overtime this week too (well, took 3 days off holiday at work and went to work in his second job instead doing lots of hours) and he got £150 extra. Very well done. I'm going to see how much I can pay towards the loan though the direct debits don't go out till Monday. I'm getting really inpatient, just want the loan to be paid off and that's it.
Diet is back on track today, after gaining 2 pounds I really need to shift the last 8 before we go on holiday in September. I ment to go for a run today but don't think I have the energy after 5 hours sleep. My gym membership is full on from July so Sunday will be gym day.0 -
Hi ya hun, just catching up on your diary, I seem to have missed loads so am reading it from start to finish again, hope you're ok x0
-
finished! Hun can't help noticing that you are so tired all the time, do you think you are doing too much, or do you think its medical, maybe go to the doctors to get checked out?
I can't believe how well you've done paying off so much, you put me to shame with my tiny overpayments! I hope you're ok and feeling a bit brighter today.

Thanks Missy,
I guess tiredness is both medical and just life all around. I have Gilbert syndrome which makes me feel even more tired when I work too hard but than working is a must, isn't it? I'm doing nearly 60 hours a week, that's why we manage to overpay so much, plus doing 2 OU courses took its toll.
But I feel much better, now we're under £5k of repaying our debts so once that's done I will sleep much better. The race is on to repay it before September though it wouldn't be a huge disaster if the last payment comes out from Sept salary. We pay about £2k a month on the loan so I need to find £600 somehow in the next 2 months. It's doable if OH does a bit of overtime and I babysit as well. Which reminds me that my boss is away next weekend and I'm proxy parenting for her,so that's about £300 extra, yippiee!!
I'm back in the gym as well now that I have one OU course going, so life is getting better I guess. Now I only wish for a baby and nothing else:).
Did a bit of thinking over the weeekend, we have 2 investment mortgages on foreign properties, one mortgage is about £13k and the other one is £35k. We agreed that we would try to repay the small one once our loan finished here and leave the £35k one to run its course. That would be really good as we would have £400 extra money every month from the rent. This is a dream at the moment, I won't stress myself about it though.Right ,better get going, lots to do today...0 -
wow kavics look at you and all that you're doing, glad you're back at the gym as I know you missed it, £400 extra a month, would be lovely wouldn't it!0
